I was in somewhat of an emergency situation and could not get help from the military. Other non-profits and the VA would not help because I was still active duty. H4H put a lot of effort into me; they really care. With other service dog non-profits, there were so many rules about who you were, what kind of dogs they would train, or how often you had to go for training that made it impossible for me to get help. H4H is different. They were very flexible and obviously concerned about me getting help over everything else. They took the time to learn what I was looking for in a dog and matched me with the perfect 4-legged battle buddy, but it didn't stop there. I also gained several 2-legged friends as they keep in touch with me. Since getting my service dog, I've been able to get help from them about training, service dog laws, dog health, or just talk when I needed to. I don't know how they do it. They're such a small organization yet those that work there seem to do the work of 10 men so you wouldn't even notice. They work really hard to make limited funds help as many vets as they can find. I highly recommend using and donating to this organization.
H4H is awesome organization for veterans. My doctor suggested I get a service dog because I suffer from PTSD. First I thought a dog couldn't help me, but I decided to give it a try because I really needed help. Selah, which is my service dog has been outstanding and helpful thanks H4H...GOD BLESS!!!!
Top Notch Non-profit. They really care about Veterans and the Canines. Excellent organization that really does a lot of help for those that really need assistance.
One thing about this program that I will never take for granted is that it is a family. There is not a person in this organization that I wouldn’t die for. Their gift of time, energy, and heart and soul is what puts this organization above the rest. I will always consider H4H the place where my true healing began.
The Army separated me from my family for nearly a year as they prepared to medically retire me. The only thing was they were not willing to properly prepare me for the transition.
With an inadequate wheelchair that was falling apart, my mobility was extremely limited. I had owned dogs in the past and new how loyal they were to their owner, but I was not prepared for what happened when H4H came into my life.
Augustus was so much like me. In fact he revealed to me a lot about me that I either did not know or did not want to admit about myself. I owe Piper and H4H my life. They were there for me when the Army I devoted my life to wasn't.
I have been struggling with chronic back pain and major depression since I was discharged from the Marine Corps in 2010. I have had several spine surgeries and I have found it hard to even hold my kids. I had been in a dark place for several years before being accepted into the H4H family. In the month that I have had Bella my depression has improved, while my back pain is still there Bella is able to help me when I have trouble and comfort me when I’m feeling down. I can’t say enough good things about Piper, Bobbi and all of the volunteers! I will be forever thankful to H4H for everything that they have done for me and everyone else they have helped!
I was in a real dark place when I retired from the Army and Healing4Heroes was there for me. These dogs are rescued and in turn rescue the Veteran. I'm not a real open person but I am in good company there and am with people of similar experiences. H4H is absolutely life-changing.
Healing 4 Heroes saved my life, through providing a service animal to help me combat my service related disabilities. This nonprofit is always welcoming, becoming a family, whether helping those in need (past providing a service animal) or encouraging service member to come back for further training. I cannot say anymore, except amazing. Both Scout and I approve
H4H has been a blessing for me. After talking to my VA therapist, she did some research and informed me about H4H. She told me that a service dog would help me. So, I talked it over with my wife and, she agreed 100%. I filled out the necessary paperwork and my VA therapist submitted her letter, and within 20 minutes, I was contacted by H4H informing me that had received my documents. I was then scheduled for the June 2020 training class. I was a little nervous at first, because I never really had a dog before. But all of that nervous went away when I got NOLA. She was the perfect pick for me and my family. H4H is truly an great organization that really help Veterans. Mrs. Piper and her staff are tremendous. They really do care about Veterans and their family. Mrs. Piper, thanks for helping me and other Veterans.

Let me start off by saying that Piper is sent from GOD himself. Piper is the most selfless person I have ever met in my life. She really cares about us veterans. Her non-profit, Healing4Heroes saved my life. Piper has, and always, will help people, veterans and non-veterans a like. She really takes care of everyone; putting others before herself. I will always be forever grateful for her and everything she does.
Hello we are a army family two boys with ASD (Autism disorder)our youngest is very LF(Low functioning) he runs in parking lots doesn’t understand danger healing for heroes stepped up and helped us with our issue with a service dog amazing 5 day traning in person. Kobe was Basic service trained but when we got there for the five days we were intense training for what we needed him for. We have had Kobe for a year now and no running in the streets. No big public places anxiety meltdowns.
After talking with our health care professional at the VA, Deb and I were convinced that a service animal would be a wonderful addition to our family. We submitted the necessary paperwork to various organizations, but we only got a few responses. The ones that did respond told us that the wait times could be as long as a year. When the Covid pandemic hit, we were devastated because everything was closing down. I had almost given up hope, but God felt our distress. One day, while at work, I had a strong feeling that I should try again. Deb told me that she had submitted an application to Healing4Heroes, so I called and left a message. 15 minutes later, I got a call from a nice lady named Piper. I introduced myself and asked her if she had any idea when they would resume training. She said that her organization had continued to train during the pandemic because she understood the importance of having a "battle buddy" during these stressful times. I was impressed that there are people still willing to give even if it means risking their health. Piper was very nice and she did not rush me off the phone. She said she was on the road, but when she got back to her office, that she would look for our application and let us know where we were on the list. I was so happy I felt like crying. When I later found out that we were scheduled for the next class, I did cry. I had the pleasure of meeting that nice lady named Piper when Deb and I attended training. Turns out that she is the founder and CEO of Healing4Heroes. The training we got was an experience that I will never forget. You gave us Jessop and he is the greatest gift anyone has ever given us. We are forever grateful for the Healing4Heroes organization. We love you Piper. God bless you.
Healing 4 Heroes have been paramount in helping our nation's finest succeed. I have personally witnessed the miraculous gift this organization has in turning shelter dogs into service dogs to "Healing Heroes". This is my go-to organization when I have questions, need advice, or have a dog in need.
Piper has more passion and thrive than anyone I know. She is hands-on, boots on the ground.
If I could give this ten stars I certainly would. This organization saves lives.
H4H is an amazing service to veterans. I can’t say enough good things about Piper and her team. I had been working with my own dog and was told about H4H by another veteran. They helped me turn my dog from a pet into my battle buddy.
I got my Service Dog In December and I had never had a dog before. This pup instantly took to me and pulled me out of a dark place. We experienced an accident where Sky was hit by a car and broke her leg a couple days into our first training class with H4H and Piper was there to hold my hand through the process. She let me know everything would be okay, accidents happen and gave me the greatest gift in the world. H4H is a family and they take care of their own. I am so happy to have found them I wouldn’t know where I would be without them.
I was in a bad place when I got to healing 4 heros . When I left at the end of the week I had a new hope. Not only for me but my new best friend Banner (my dog). The trainers there are not just there to help you train your dog. You connect with them on a much deeper level and truly make friends for life. I plan to go back and continue my training and hopefully be able to help others as they have helped me. I need to add one more thing. For 15 years since I got out of the military I've been walking around lost. On my last day of training. I hugged my trainer Jim and cried. Because I finally found somewhere I belonged again.
Healing for hero’s provided me with the training and help necessary in acquiring my service dog, I went looking for a service dog but found a family with him
I leave a 4 star only because there is always room for improvement anywhere. If there is no room to improve, then someone is not being honest with themselves.
The people with this organization are resilient, focused, hard working, and devoted to helping veterans with their needs. They take an open minded approach to helping each unique veteran with pairing them with a dog and training it to meet their expectations.
I wouldn’t choose anyone but Healing4heroes. Thank you
Healing4Heroes is a needle in the hay stack. My wife and I tried for well over a year to find an organization to help us train a service dog to assist with my disability. Not until we about gave up did H4H fall in our laps. The process was fast and painless. I was accepted into the program within a week of filing my paperwork.
Once I arrived for training; the staff and volunteers were easy to work with and really had a heart for the program, veteran and the animals. I am continually impressed by the knowledge and expertise among the trainers. This isn’t a fly by night program. It takes continual training and correspondence with staff to perfect and grow a strong bond with your new battle buddy.
Staff also look out for those quite veterans who show signs of anxiety etc. This is a pressure free zone. Meaning they let you go at your own pace and guide you along.
Thank you H4H
I woke up in a hospital at 22 and the doctors said I wouldn’t live as normal as I am today because of this organization they helped me with getting a service dog and I’ve pushed my self every day to be the best I can be for him and I’ve done things that I wouldn’t of done because it was painful but they have kept me motivated through the whole ordeal
This organization and it’s people are exceptional. They take the time to find the rot fit between dog and handler. They are always helpful, even after you leave the week long course. It truly is a family working together! Seeing the progress from the first day to just the third is incredible. The win-win is great, too. Taking a dog that someone else deemed as “trash” and turning it into a service dog to help the handler with whatever disability that they have is heartwarming.
Piper Hill, the founder, cares for everyone that either volunteers, comes thru the class, or touches Healing4heroes in any way. Her personal hurdles became the stepping stone for everything that has happened.she turned something that could have been shattering into an experience to help others.
I’m a recipient of both my Service Dogs from Healing4heroes. It’s has given my life back and exposed me to things I was avoiding. This is a great family oriented organization, not only are they helping Veterans and First Responders but they include and help the family members as well. Awesome organization, great trainers, and great founder. Couldn’t have ask for a better family to have joined.
This group has saved many soldiers lives. Piper and her staff have done an outstanding job setting this organization up to help Veterans. I thankful everyday that I am apart of this organization. I would rate them 10 stars if I could.
I was very nervous and anxious about everything prior to my arrival: this was going to be the first dog I'd ever owned; this was going to be my first experience with training something as smart as a dog; I wasn't sure how I would do with a dog, with the training, etc. From day one, the trainers were so supportive, so empathetic, and so patient that my nervousness and anxiousness were put at ease and I was able to train with my new dog. I always felt as if my dog and I were behind the curve when it came to training, especially when she wouldn't mind my commands, but the trainers continued to be so supportive that I was able to take a few minutes then come back to it and get it right. There was no such thing as failure there, which was one of my biggest fears, only steps to progress. If you need a service dog, I highly recommend this organization as a place to get it, and train with it. I'm going to miss them all, but they are so open about everything that I continue to remain in contact with them even now. Thank you to everyone there for a great and positive experience.
I was in the process of moving from Georgia to Missouri. I was told by my VA doctor that a service dog was definitely something I needed. Not knowing where to go from there, I contacted h4h. They immediately sprung into action, not only providing my dog, but also the training I needed. I was divorced, depressed, and my life was going downhill fast. Halfway through class, my dog had some problems. The team at h4h jumped in, provided me another dog, trained me and my dog in 2 days and got my certification. I now am happier in life. My depression has subsided and my new dog is wonderful. Without Piper and her team, I'm not sure my life would be this happy. Thank you with all my heart. I'll miss you all so much. The h4h team saved 2 lives that week.
Healing4Heroes is the real deal we can't escape ptsd and the negative statistics associated with it. What I can say is this organization and it's fine staff saved my life through a 4 legged Hero and I'm forever indebted to them THANK YOU HEALING4HEROES
Healing4Heroes in not just another none profit that is doing good in the community. Healing4Heroes saves lives and families. Having been associated as a donor to this organization for a number of years I had the opportunity to witness first hands how the fragile lives of solders we put back together with the love and trust of a dog that was sure to suffered its own bad fate had it not been for Piper and H4H. The sense of security and the bond that is created allows these men and women to again be productive, heathy and happy in their lives and the lives of their families. This is all done at no cost to the soldier (haven't they paid enough already for us) but can not be done without the support of the community and business leaders.
If ever there was a cause worth your time or money, it is H4H
Healing4Heroes is an amazing organization run by a phenomenal woman and crew. As a wounded Veteran herself, Piper is very familiar with the roadblocks Veterans come up against. You arent just assigned a battle buddy and left to figure it out. She, or one of her knowledgeable volunteers, is with you every step of the way. After training is complete, you quickly realize you arent just another client for the books, you and your family are now part of the H4H family. Their "furever" family.
A absolutely wonderful group of people that do so many wonderful things for our veterans all while incorporating the saving of abandoned pets , a win win organization driven by people with the biggest hearts, the world could learn a thing or two from this group of people, Thank you for all you do.
My favorite nonprofit ! A great asset to the veterans and our four legged friends .
I served a year in Kandahar as a machine gunner and it took its toll on me. For years I struggled with ways to cope with life After my time and finally I decided to try and get a service dog which took some getting used to but my service dog has made a great impact on my life and has kept me from going over the edge several times. At times when I felt like I had no one else and I was all alone my dog was there for me. When I have mental break downs my dog is there for me even when I’m scared or can’t sleep he’s there. Me and my companion bonded from the beginning and now that I have him I can’t imagine life without him. This program gave me a chance when no other programs would because of life choices I made in my past. I couldn’t be more thankful and blessed for all H4H, piper and the team has done for me. Thank you all
I am a retired Marine that was diagnosed with PTSD and TBI. And I had struggled with it for years before I was advised that I would benefit from a service dog. I had seen them with vets before and asked fellow vets if the service dog did benefit them. And I received nothing but positivity from their stories. I live in Las Vegas and applying for a service dog was going to take me 2-3 years. I reached out to Healing4Heroes and they were able to accommodate me within months. Upon arriving from out of state to Peach Tree City Georgia I was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. The staff at Healing4Heroes is top notch and provided wholehearted training to me and my service dog. I will forever be grateful to the Healing4Heroes organization for allowing me the opportunity to benefit from having a service dog.
I recently went to a training and was matched with my service dog Tut. Long story short in a very short amount of time we have a huge bond. He has already given me back many things in my life. I was pretty much just sitting home. Having him by my side I’ve been able to go out to restaurants, go into stores and actually be able to make it through the line without having full blown anxiety attacks and having to leave my stuff there and get out of the store. He is also waking me in the night if I experience nightmares. All of the people at healing 4 heroes are just simply amazing. Veterans helping veterans. They are all volunteers and they do this because they are truly want to help other veterans and set us up for success with our new battle buddies. Just the training alone is life changing and then the support you receive from the organization is just amazing. I would highly recommend this to any veteran that may be in need of a service dog.
I discovered Healing4heroes by googling service dogs for Veterans for my amazing husband. I completed the application and he was signed up for class. That was God directing our path to this indescribable organization. Piper, Robbie, and so many others welcomed him warmly and helped him get through the week of training. My husband is now a trainer and volunteers his time with Healing4heroes. I did my course this past summer with Coco and I would not know what to do without our H4H family. I love them all so dearly and they are the most supportive group you could ask for. Thank you Piper for creating this family!
My Aussie has always been by my side since the day we got her. She was my home pet for a bit before H4H helped me train her to be there for me in the ways I needed! H4H did not just help train my dog to be my battle buddy, but they trained me to be the best battle buddy for her. I was able to acknowledge and notice when I am overwhelmed and panicking with the amazing training and bonding H4H gave us! They are a family to all individuals that make contact with me! True service to the veteran community! They are honest heroes that this world and veteran community needs!!
I lost my last service dog, a 5yr Old German Shepherd named Anya, almost 2yrs ago to stomach cancer. She was my original furry battle buddy! I also lost one of my best friends this past December, my last grandparent just weeks later, and a close firefighter friend of mine a couple of weeks after that. All of that was in a span of 3 months! I took a stress leave and later got cut loose from Amazon cause they refused to approve the leave. What a stab in the back! I felt abandoned and fell into a lot of dark spaces. I looked at old photos of Anya and cried horribly, missing her dearly for days. I found the strength to finally look for another service dog eventually. I had horrible luck until Healing 4 Heroes showed me the light! They helped me find this wonderful 5.5yr old Malanois/Husky mix named Farrah and we clicked so well with each other! I’m so thankful for this wonderful organization for this pup and she has been such a HUGE help already! Thank you Healing 4 Heroes. Thanks for giving me a chance with this beautiful angel of a pup!
I could not recommend Healing 4 Heroes any more higher than could possibly be. From start to finish it was an amazing experience, they did every thing to make it possible for me to select a dog and gain all the training and tools I need to be successful with my service dog Zoey.
Healing4Heroes is an phenomenal organization. I am an 82nd Airborne Combat Vet and have been struggling with PTSD, major depression disorder, and crippling anxiety for the last several years. I have lost several jobs and the strain on my wife and kids has been dramatically increasing. I was referred to H4H by a local trainer who works with H4H. They paired me with an amazing dog named Liberty and I have found a second family in H4H, TAO K9 Unleashed, Coco’s Cupboard, the volunteer coaches and trainers, and the other vets in my class. Looking forward to continuing my journey with these amazing people!
I am so grateful for having healing4heroes help end with what I thought impossible to do. After 12 year or retiring from the Army I found myself lost and hopeless. Just waiting on my time to go. Suzan and Piper immediately saw my behavior from a distance and did their magic on me. Later we were able to start working with my baffle buddy Monk. I see light now. The love, help and support I get from my dog Monk after the intense seminar has made my life possible to handle. The assistant coaches are so knowledgeble not only on how to train a service dog but to deal with Veterans with severe illnesses like mine. I recommend h4h to any Veterans that is looking to get better.
Healing4Heroes is an amazing nonprofit. The difference that I see in my husband since we first started training his service dog is amazing. Not only have they given him his service dog but they also have given him a purpose again with volunteering. It helps him tremendously to be able to take that focus off himself and help other veterans. Whether or not its dog related or the bonds that we have created with people and veterans involved with Healing4Heroes I cant say enough nice things.
This group is awesome, they have saved so many Veterans and rescue dogs with their training, dedication and compassion. I am so glad that they took the time to help this old Veteran.
We've taken 2 classes and I want to come back. I cannot begin to say how blessed we are to be involved with H4H. Piper, you, Suzanne and the whole group are awesome.
This guys are one of the best things to happen to me. I suffer from ptsd and parkinsons disease. I received a dog from h4h. they helped me train him and are always there for me whether i need emotional support, a training question etc. they have become a second family
Healing 4 heroes changed my life for the better in ways I never expected or imagined. My confidence is high. Going out more. Physically I am doing simple things that I thought would be impossible
Healing4heroes has changed my life! I would not be able to do what I do now without Reign. From the trainers looking out for you to the friends you make at the classes everyone has each other’s back. Everyone understands what you are going through without judging, to me that is a huge deal. And having Reign by my side I feel like I can go do things again.
Healing4Heroes is absolutely amazing, they helped me when I received an untrained, near out of control "service" dog from another trainer. I was in a very bad place when I found them, but everyone there has helped me so much. Thanks to them, me and my dog are a real team and he's come so far with their help and he now helps me in so many ways. We'd never have been able to make it this far without H4H.
The VA told me that I needed a service dog and I was having trouble finding one. I was told by several organizations that since I was pre 911 that they couldn't help. Healing4Hero's took me in and changed my life. I can't thank Piper and Suzanne enough. They matched me with Parker and Parker and I have become inseparable. Much love and respect for all involved.
Amazing group of people. Caring and devoted to both people and dogs. The knowledge they share with the veterans and civilians they serve is amazing, life changing.
Hands, I mean paws down the best. Words cant describe how much my life has improved solely because of this group. They've seen me at my worst and still everyone just cares so much.
I am very thankful to be part of this great organization. There is just not enough space in the box to explain how amazing this organization is. They have saved my life.
I had been struggling for years to make it to the next day. I had basically isolated myself from human contact because it was just too much to deal with after having a night of nightmares from the past. After going to my sister’s house to dog sit, I found what would help. I found H4H online and took a stab at it. I am so thankful that I did. Thanks to Piper, Suzanne, Robbie and everyone that works with this organization I am finally getting a life again. I was paired up with my dog, Zeus (Mini Zeus to the group) and I started to take my life back. I can now go out in public more than I did before. If I ever need help, everyone is there to help. This is a great organization that gives rescues a purpose and vets a new battle buddy.
Great place and people that help Vers like myself find a companion. They are wonderful at what they do. I have found a new family
I ran into Piper one night at Ross in Peachtree City and she had her Service Pet with her. Her dog was beautiful and seemed to like my wife, so I sparked up a conversation with her about the dog and she told me about her nonprofit organization Healing4heros. I went home and did some research about it and thought it was great and something I was interested in. Well life happened, I had 2 Naval graduations to attend, some illnesses to recover from and I didn't think I would get the chance to be a part of the program. Well one day I was at VA clinic and guess who I bump into, Piper and Bobbi. They gave me a business card and told me to do an application. Took my class in July and it changed my life for the better..
Thank you Healing4heros for my new friend and Battle Buddy Pearl.
My husband fights with nightmares and PTSD. He doesn't like going to public places and often has anxiety and depression episodes where he just doesn't want to get out of bed. He applied for a service dog and was denied because he was pre-9/11. We were told about H4H and even though my husband didn't think he would get approved for a battle buddy he applied anyway. Not only was he approved, but his battle buddy literally chose him out of a room of veterans. They go through everything together now. My husband ventures out more and his episodes of anxiety and depression still happens, but he has a battle buddy to go through it with him. As a veteran's wife that hurts everytime my husband hurts, I am so highly grateful to H4H for what they do for veteran's. Thank you so much for what you do.
Words cannot express the heartfelt, sincere and all-encompassing giving spirit of Healing4Heroes. Every volunteer along with the trainer and founder have hearts of gold. We all have suffered some sort of traumatic event(s). Although not identical, everyone has a sense of empathy towards what we all went through. Sometimes words aren't necessary and a pat on the back or a caring look is sent our way. A battle buddy is trained for us and the follow-up after initial training is always available. I highly recommend this non- profit to all veterans. Its definitely worth the work to achieve the healing needed to become a productive member of society. I can't thank them enough for supporting and giving me the courage to forge ahead.
I simply cannot put into words the truly miraculous work that this non-profit does for service members, veterans, their families...and also showing in a truly professional manner what a great blessing a service dog can be to a warrior in need. Everyone involved has a heart of gold with the sole intent of helping others without monetary gain.
I applied and showed up skeptical...and after witnessing many miracles, and training with the dog they provided, I was blessed with both a renewed hope of others stepping forth to help our veterans, and a wonderful service dog of my own...who has helped me and my family immensely in more ways than I can describe. If I knew how I would praise this organization to the fullest extent...but for now all I can say is THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO....it saves, restores, preserves, & improves lives in an astonishing manner.
Most Sincerely & Respectfully,
Dr. John Lewis
Healing4Heros was a blessing to me! I was at a very dark place when I got accepted into the program and my life has been forever changed.
Wonderful people who put the dog and service member first!
This organization is one of the most caring and helpful ones out there. They connected me with my Service Dog and have been with me every step of the way. If I got discouraged, they were there to encourage me. Their training team were on the ball when it came to both my dog's and my training, so we learned to work as a team. All I know, that since Healing4Heroes has come into my life, my quality of living has risen exponentially. They connected me with the perfect partner and I can never thank them enough.
Healing4Heros organization pairs unwanted shelter dogs with veterans who have PTSD. The pair then attends training together that prepares the dog to be a service dog for the veteran. The involvement of the organization does not end with the training and placement of dog with the veteran. They provide ongoing support. There is no fee to the veteran.
Healing4Heroes is making a difference in lives one dog at a time. Piper Hill and her amazing volunteers give so much of themselves for the betterment of others, particularly our incredible veterans. I am a civilian they graciously accepted into the program. They have a top-notch program steered with heart and compassion.
After my son was refused a service dog because of his digonoiss and because we had other "pets" in the home.I found H4H online and I contacted H4H to apply... they gladly accepted us into the program.. and placed us with a wonderful rescue dog. As cillivians they took us in and we felt out family extend to a great length. This orginazation is so amazing I cant give them enough stars!!
Not only have they accepted us into there family but they have also helped my son open up and with him having Atusim has done more than just provide him with a service dog.. they have helped my son in so many ways!!
Healing4Heroes is absolutely amazing! They brought my battle buddy and I together and my life has already been changed. I don’t know what I would have done without the wonderful people at H4H. Thank you for everything!!
This organization is amazing. We went to Georgia to get a service dog for my husband and the owner of the organization found out all the health issues I had and was worried my husbands dog would start working more for me then him they ended up giving me a service dog as well. They have no issues helping out the vets and their family. I really love this organization.
When I agreed to fostering my first dog for Healing 4 Heroes, I thought, what a great concept. When I actually took my foster dog, Zeke, to meet the veterans, I was blown away by the impact these dogs had on the veterans. And couldn’t wait to do more than just foster. I love spending that week every few months witnessing these dogs and vets bond during training. Seeing them come out out their shells. I am honored and thankful to be apart of such an amazing organization.
Loving people pairing rescues together and creating battle buddies that function as a team! What a stellar organization and group of people! I can’t say enough good things!!! Love these folks!!!
I met Piper when she was just starting this program, and we talked a bunch, and figured out we had a lot more than rescuing dogs in common. She is a veteran herself, so immediately she had my respect. She bends over backwards to help couple service dogs with veterans, and if I had a million bucks, I would donate it to Healing4Heroes. In the meantime, I am a huge fan of this organization.
These folks are diligent in matching soldiers with service dogs they rescue from high kill shelters in the South. Amazing and a win - win for all involved.
Healing4Heroes is helping me to be able to do things as simple as grocery shopping again. I have more confidence since we started the program. My dog loves going to work. She gets so excited to go to work. She helps me in ways that most people cannot even comprehend. I am learning to function as a “normal” human being again. This program and the people involved have so much passion for helping people and animals. They aren’t just doing a service for people but the animals as well. They are serving the community by doing what they do!
Piper and Healing4Heroes, help to change my life when the gave me my service dog Orion. Healing4heroes is an awesome organization with the most kind, patient, and wonderful volunteers that I've had the pleasure of meeting. If I could I would send all my veteran comrades to Healing4heroes for their service dogs.
I’ve been a volunteer with H4H for almost three years. Every class I’ve ever helped with has always had one or more miracles. This group and organization gives with HEART. The dogs and the wounded veterans are living better lives because of this organization. God bless.
