Too many of our returning service heroes are choosing suicide because they don't have the mechanisms to cope after experiencing war. They bring home wounds both on the outside, and the inside. Chronic pain, PTSD, disabling stress, or just the inability to deal with normal life again. Healing Warriors Program treats the unseen wounds that can be even more debilitating than the visible ones. Those treated are amazed at the levels of pain and stress held within the body that are released or drop away with the various treatments. I like that this program treats the entire family, as well as the service member, so that they can be a healthy and strong family unit once again. These practitioners are good people doing good work, and need our financial support. This work is a labor of love and a way to thank and support our returning service men and women when they need us most ... dealing with the aftermath of war and the scars of battle, before it's too late.

After years of medications for physical and non-physical symptoms, I have finally experienced relief from daily pain, anxiety and insomnia. The change was immediate and lasting, and every time I go, I get more relief from things that have plagued me for years, some from even before my service. There are different types of treatments, some I have tried before and some I had never experienced. For me, alternating the healing touch and cranio-sacral therapies has produced benefits I never anticipated. I was hoping to have a little less anxiety, maybe wake up a few less times per night. What I have actually experienced is entire days with little to no anxiety, sleeping through entire nights for the first time in 20 years, waking up without pain, headaches that have plagued me since my teens are gone, the return of full range of motion to an injured shoulder, dramatically reduced edema in both knees, the list goes on. Suffice it to say that my results dramatically surpass my expectations.
The staff and practitioners at Healing Warriors are wonderfully genuine, caring individuals who do this simply because they have a heart for veterans. To my knowledge, they all have successful private practices and carve out time in their busy schedules to provide therapies to veterans. They do it because they believe we deserve to feel better and get healed, and other sources of care are not meeting our needs or addressing our issues. Some of us have been told there's nothing more that can be done for us by other medical sources, and these healers know better than to accept that. I am proof of that, and I am incredibly grateful to Healing Warriors for the help I have received and for them even deciding to do this. What an amazing way to serve those who have served!

Healing Warriors is serving vets that i love who are benefitting from the holistic approach. i love the idea of offering services to family members as PTSD, as well as physical injuries affect the circles of relationships around our warriors. The staff are talented, kind and caring. The site director, Sue Walker is incredibly dedicated to this growing community.
