Heal One World is an amazing place that has provided me with the opportunity to practice yoga, zumba, tai chi, and pilates. Based in a community where these forms of exercise aren't readily available, I must applaud Skye Kelly for providing us with donation-based access. Everyone in the community is grateful Heal One World exists. The space where we meet is absolutely perfect and every single teacher provides quality, top-notch instruction.

I am proud to have volunteer with this great nonprofit organization. It gave me an opportunity to assist with the screening of so many films that bring awareness to the world such as humanity traffic, humanitarian work, animals abuse, environmental and political crises that occur not just in our neighborhood but around world.

Heal One World begins with healing the Mind, Body and Soul of people in need, one person at a time - and through it's fundraising arm, The Awareness Film Festival, extends healing from the individual to whole communitie around the globe. Working with this organization and it's visionary founder, Skye Kelly, has been an eye opening enriching experience, transforming strangers from all over the world into neighbors, friends and family.

I has an awesome experience with Heal One World during their film festival and volunteering for it. The festival was amazing with great films and people. The mission to bring awareness to todays issues is inspiring as is the goal to keep their studios running.

I had a lot of fun volunteering for Awareness Film Festival and met lot of good people. I watched a lot of great documentaries. The event honoring Lisa Vanderpump and James Maslow was thoughtful and fun. The vegan dinner was delicious. The panels were insightful and intimate. I really enjoyed women filmmakers panel. They talked a wide range of topics from mindfulness being taught in schools, health benefits of yoga, and personal experiences as filmmakers.

Wow, Heal One World really cares about the community. The fact that everyone is a volunteer is incredible. The whole 5 years I have been coming here have been amazing. I do not know how Skye is able to do all that she does, and all of the volunteers she facilitates are equally committed and caring! Viva Heal One World!

It has been a great pleasure volunteering at Heal One World. Not only this experience of serving with a good cause, I felt everyone at HOW is mutually compassionate and understanding of each other and the community surrounding Los Angeles County. HOW is aware of the community health issues and have diligently addressing them by providing workshops and group activities. I would encourage anyone to take a second out of his/her time to know what HOW does for the community and benefit from their programs.

Heal One World is truly a special space. I have been a volunteer yoga teacher here for almost two years now, and you can tell that the community HOW serves is grateful to have access to wellness programs that would otherwise be too expensive or exclusive. It is located in a part of Los Angeles that is highly diverse, and it provides a place for people to move their bodies and minds, and also to be educated about their health and well-being. With their new management in place, they will be much more organized, and I'm excited for HOW's future.

I have been a participant of their yoga classes and they have been life changing. Having a place like heal one world in our neighborhood is surprising but very needed and welcomed. The teachers are so wonderful and inclusive. I was a complete beginner and now I feel comfortable and like a real yogi. Teachers Camilla, Adam and Leticia I have all taken and their classes have been great and supportive for all the students. I highly recommend Heal One World to donors, volunteers and participants.

HOW is a great organization that works to bring wellness and awareness to the surrounding community. I think people should be exposed to all modalities of healing and HOW does exactly that! Keep up the great work!

As an intern for Heal One World ("HOW") the past summer, I have found this non-profit to be a wonderful organization that seeks to help and provide for those most in need. Through my work, not only have I uncovered that HOW works to provide the local underserved community with alternative treatments not usually covered by insurance and also provides an online database to help connect low-cost clinics with folks in need, but also that HOW raises awareness for a variety of issues each year through hosting the Awareness Film Festival- providing a platform for all aspiring filmmakers who wish to raise awareness about and/or provide support for issues relating to Ecological, Political, Health/Well Being and Spiritual topics
