Heal One World is an amazing place that has provided me with the opportunity to practice yoga, zumba, tai chi, and pilates. Based in a community where these forms of exercise aren't readily available, I must applaud Skye Kelly for providing us with donation-based access. Everyone in the community is grateful Heal One World exists. The space where we meet is absolutely perfect and every single teacher provides quality, top-notch instruction.
Heal One World is great. I'm a bootcamp teacher here and my experiences with the students have been great. Such a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
Heal One World is a great place to volunteer. I love the location, the participants are friendly, and other volunteers are supportive.
Heal One World is truly a special space. I have been a volunteer yoga teacher here for almost two years now, and you can tell that the community HOW serves is grateful to have access to wellness programs that would otherwise be too expensive or exclusive. It is located in a part of Los Angeles that is highly diverse, and it provides a place for people to move their bodies and minds, and also to be educated about their health and well-being. With their new management in place, they will be much more organized, and I'm excited for HOW's future.
Heal One World really is committed to helping others.
Amazing non profit! So thankful to have found it on global giving! I look forward to their reports and updates.
I have been a participant of their yoga classes and they have been life changing. Having a place like heal one world in our neighborhood is surprising but very needed and welcomed. The teachers are so wonderful and inclusive. I was a complete beginner and now I feel comfortable and like a real yogi. Teachers Camilla, Adam and Leticia I have all taken and their classes have been great and supportive for all the students. I highly recommend Heal One World to donors, volunteers and participants.
HOW is a great organization that works to bring wellness and awareness to the surrounding community. I think people should be exposed to all modalities of healing and HOW does exactly that! Keep up the great work!
As an intern for Heal One World ("HOW") the past summer, I have found this non-profit to be a wonderful organization that seeks to help and provide for those most in need. Through my work, not only have I uncovered that HOW works to provide the local underserved community with alternative treatments not usually covered by insurance and also provides an online database to help connect low-cost clinics with folks in need, but also that HOW raises awareness for a variety of issues each year through hosting the Awareness Film Festival- providing a platform for all aspiring filmmakers who wish to raise awareness about and/or provide support for issues relating to Ecological, Political, Health/Well Being and Spiritual topics
I am volunteer and love the positive impact the org has on the community. We are able to reach a diverse group of people that wouldnt otherwise he exposed or be anle to afford the classes. It is very well organized and amazing how all are volunteers and yet runs so smoothly. So glad I am able to help and be a part of somethimg so positive and impactful.
I was so impressed by their class offerings, the teachers are talented and caring and made me feel welcomed. I tried Tai Chi, Meditation and many Yoga classes. I also attended their film festival and it was filled with many awesome films. I am very thankful for this community resource!
I had a wonderful experience with the organization and recommend it to everyone looking for an internship or to volunteer.
Heal One World is a true community resource and provides excellent healing and yoga. I've had a wonderful session with Skye and also love that they do the Awareness Film Festival which illuminates important issues that humanity faces today.
Heal One World is a truly great charity. Anybody who has a desire to better themselves, and become healthier and happier can find activities that fit their interests and needs, regardless of their level of income. All members of the community are welcome to take advantage of the great programs offered at H.O.W. There is no minimum donation and nobody is turned away due to inability to pay.
While doctors do care about preventative and complimentary medicine, it is not a priority for them because they have their hands full with more pressing issues. Communities depend on places like HOW to provide and guide patients through preventative measures they can take to improve their physical health and mental well being.
I am honored to be a part of an organization that has a positive effect on so many people's Lives.
Heal One World aims their focus on making sure they succeed at their goals and that is keeping people on a healthy path, and providing the public the world of cinematic entertainment from independent filmmakers. As long as I have been with them, they have been growing with supporters.
Good work H.O.W.
I have attended the film festival and from that learned of heal one world. I have now linked heal one world to offer yoga classes at our shelter and they also work with the Venice family clinic, senior centers and youth. I am very impressed by their offerings and
ethics. I look forward to our future collaborations.
I am glad I have had the opportunity to volunteer for an organization deeply involved with the surrounding community. The yoga/fitness classes are all donation based and provide access to all groups of people. If you live near check out the diverse set of programs and events that Heal One World offers.
Heal One World is such a special place. It provides a spiritual outlet, through its classes, to those who might not otherwise be able to have access.
The space is beautiful and you can feel the love the moment you walk through the door.
Amazing organization :)
I love teaching classes at how. It is a joy to be of service at a place so inclusive and driven by pure goodness and not greed. My students are appreciate and dedicated, it is my favorite class to teach of many. You can really see the progress of yhe students and it feels like family. Namaste
