When I first took on the role at HBIC, I was excited for the mission and really looking forward to helping people in a different way than I had in the past. When I met the leadership team already in place, something about it felt like home - depth, warmth, passion, and motivation!

I have proudly served for more than 18 months and have no plans of leaving anytime soon. This organization is going to help so many people and I cannot wait to be a part of the growth and really impact some lives!

I learned about this nonprofit from a virtual race event they were doing as a fundraiser. I wanted to learn more about them so I visited their site and was blown away. They have very comprehensive programs and their mission is something that means a lot to me on a personal level. I wish I had known about this nonprofit before, but I'm so glad I found them. I'm proud to support their fundraiser and I'd be happy to do more in the future.

I started working with HBIC HQ about 2 months ago as outreach director. I've had such a great experience and the work I've done has been extremely rewarding. Speaking with others about donating to the unique programs is a great opportunity to both develop my communication skills and help out HBIC HQ with their mission.

I am a SEO (search engine optimization) volunteer with a nonprofit organization. My experience so far consists of providing meta descriptions for search engines and social media sites. I am having great fun and am gaining a lot of experience building my skills for the future. The organization is very supportive and I am very thankful for the opportunity. This has been a rewarding experience and I am glad I can contribute as well as learn.

The HBICHQ Pave the Path to Success is one of the most impactful and effective programs I've seen. Other nonprofits may offer a workshop or an educational class, but at the end of it the people don't get any follow up support and most of the lessons learned in the single workshop are forgotten very soon. I love that this program gives 2 books for them to keep, and on-going Mentoring sessions are built into the program to help these women make better connections so they can build a healthier network right off the bat. You just don't see that level of support and I am very impressed.

I volunteered in the Marketing & Outreach department at HBIC HQ for around six months, and I could not be happier about my experience! I really enjoyed supporting this amazing organization that is so committed to the causes that I care about - feminism and empowering women. I learned so much in my time volunteering and felt supported and encouraged by HBIC HQ every step of the way. I highly recommend working with HBIC HQ as a volunteer if you are looking to sharpen your skills, learn new skills, and give back to a supportive and uplifting community.

The programs offered by this nonprofit are designed thoughtfully, with a focus on a practical end-result that could actually help a women build a business or a career. From start to finish, there is a practical approach through each program so that a person can start with one program and continue learning and growing through each of the other programs in turn, and in the end they will have built a robust network of successful women and will be able to use the skills learned through the various programs to build a better future for themselves and their families as a leader in their professional life and community.
