Mission: The purposes of the committee shall be as follows:(1) improve communications between the unions, the contractor associations, and the contractors;(2) improve organizational effectiveness between the employees and contractors;(3) solve problems of mutual concern not susceptible to resolution within the collective bargaining process;(4) eliminate potential problems which reduce competitiveness and inhibit the economic development of the area or industry(5) enhance the involvement of employees in making decisions that affect their working lives
