Causes: Human Services
Mission: Ending period poverty by making no-cost period supplies (tampons, pads, etc) available through local schools, homeless and domestic abuse shelters & programs, as well as via direct distribution to girls and women at its main office. Second, outreach and education of the general public about the issues that girls and women in our area face, including period poverty, proper use of period supplies, ending social stigmas related to periods, and the educational obstacles present in today’s institutions. Third, the development and delivery of a suite of free courses and seminars for girls and young women in grades 6 – 12 that will focus on teaching and enhancing leadership skills.
Results: Over 40,000 period products donated

Programs: no-cost period supplies, period starter kits, advocacy, events and activities, leadership courses for girls and young women.
