Mission: Hasc center's mission is to advocate for, educate and assist individuals with developmental and intellectual challenges to make life choices, exercise independence and become responsible citizens. Hasc center encourages all individuals to maximize their dreams and become productive members of their communities by providing an arrray of individual and family supports through a dedicated team of professionals and support staff.
Programs: Hasc center provides small, supervised and supportive, beautifully furnished, individual and group residences, in various sections of brooklyn, ny for 207 individuals with developmental and intellectual challenges. Each residence offers individuals opportunities to acquire greater independence, learn new skills and become integrated members of their communities.
hasc center's pre-vocational program, which includes a sheltered workshop and an electronics recycling component, teaches adaptive work skills to 30 individuals who require training and support to be able to hold competitive employment in the community.
hasc center provides habilitation trainers to work at home with 300 disabled individuals, offering them training to maintain current abilities and learn new skills.
