I continually look back to my time at HJT and am amazed at just how much I learned from those early years at the theater. The HJT created an environment where I developed self-confidence as a young man. There were very specific acheivements; learning how to interact with others, working to present myself on stage, and training any regional accent out of my voice. But, perhaps the more than anything, at the HJT I was empowered -- empowered to find myself and push the limits of what I can do. The training has served me well in my carreer. It was also the first place where I saw others' passion for their work. I've tried to bring that same creative passion into my job and it is a wonderful, rewarding experience.
