I had the distinct pleasure to work with Judy and her team when I was offered the opportunity to showcase my small business at the Willow Grove Mall. There we helped raise some funds for Harmony and the love and dedication that the Harmony members had for what they were doing was infectious. COVID came along and interrupted our adventure but I stayed in touch with Harmony Rescue and followed their fund raising efforts. There were so many amazing volunteers, you just couldn’t walk away.
Fast forward to this year and my husband and I were looking for a kitten to add to our family and by staying in touch with Judy I had the opportunity to see some kittens were rescued this spring and would be available for adoption.
With great care, applications were filled out, and we were ecstatic to learn we were going to become proud parents of a new kitty at the end of June. Linda, as my granddaughter named our new kitten, has begun to get familiar with my family and has become such a wonderful addition. We are just thrilled to have her.
Thank you Judy for going out of your way to bring her to us. We appreciate everything you ladies have done both for Linda, our kitty and our family.

I'm into my second year of volunteering with Harmony Retreat and Animal Rescue and it's always been a pleasure working with the group and making new friends along the way. I can tell they're very passionate about the work they do and are fully committed to giving animals in need a second chance at life. They're a wonderful group of people with their hearts in the right place and want nothing more than to save lives and make some positive changes for the community.

I enjoy working with Harmony Retreat and Animal Rescue. I have always had a love of animals and it is so upsetting to see them abused and hungry. Harmony's vision is to help animals and people too!

I hope they continue to raise fun to reach their visions of opening an animal sanctuary,

Harmony is an exceptional non-profit. They are caring and always willing to help. I called looking for a rehoming of my Grand-dog due to divorce and Judy was right there ready to help. Luckily it turned out Bella got to keep her home. Judy lovingly supports people who need to place a pet in foster care or find a new forever home. Harmony has a heart for those animals who are lost, without anyone….Harmony brings love and care just when it’s needed most!

Harmony Retreat & Animal Rescue is very close to my heart. I've had the pleasure of being involved with Harmony from the very early stages. Being very close to the founder I've enjoyed watching her idea progress to where it is today. I cannot wait for what the future holds for Harmony. It's because of the connections that Harmony has built that we found our most recent adoption. I've never had a dog quite so clingy, but he melts your soul every time he puts on the puppy dog eyes.

Companion animals and those who care about them are fortunate to have a champion like Judy Dyke. Her vision for Harmony Retreat and Animal Rescue inspires many to follow her. She is a lifeline for Furry Friends across her corner of PA. She works unceasingly to bring Harmony's mission to the attention of the service region through appealing events while serving as a (primarily) one-woman animal rescue operation. She's well on her way to making her dream a reality.

– The white ducks we just brought home.

The ducks are doing great and they are slowly being accepted by the other ducks!

Judy Dyke, President of Harmony Rescue and her associate, dropped these two frightened gems at my home. Patience, I knew, would be critical at this time and for the first couple of weeks I could only find them together, always hiding somewhere. Interestingly, Wisp, (smaller), yes, a “wisp of a kitty," seemed the protector with Phantom (larger) lurking in the shadow (as his name reveals) would always be peeking out from behind his smaller brother.

Soon after, Wisp began coming out to play with toys; hiding in a paper bag; napping in the laundry basket; just having a wonderful time chasing whatever moves and finally letting me brush him and, in the morning, while having my coffee, lying next to me while purring as I pet him. Phantom is much more--as he was duly named--suspicious and illusive. He plays with Wisp and has begun meowing when I place his soft food down so I expect, maybe if I am so fortunate, Phantom will one day allow me to feel his soft fur, brush and pet him. These two are so delightful and I am grateful to Harmony Retreat and Animal Rescue for coming to my rescue when I needed to love and be loved by these precious felines.

Six years ago we adopted Marley through Judy Dyke at Harmony Retreat and Animal Rescue. Marley has such a sweet and loving disposition. I will be forever grateful!

Judy and Harmony helped me get my dog Tucker! They had a connection and let me know right away about Tucker when he was up for adoption! I got him when he was about 15 weeks old! Tucker has been a great dog! He was very well cared for! Judy was very supportive and even helped me do some training!
