Lauren is AMAZING and incredibly hard working. The way she cares for and loves her animals is so admirable. I cannot speak highly enough about Lauren and her rescue / sanctuary. All of her animals needs are addressed, they’re so happy, healthy, loved and at peace.

I love Lauren and all the work she does with her charity. Happy Heart -Happy Home is truly that, the many animals that Lauren takes in are now in a safe, happy place.
This is how dedicated she is....
It’s 3 am and Hawk and I are sitting outside on the swing as he dries off from his bath. The past 36 hours have been a whirlwind of emotions and I am finally getting to take it all in. I am so grateful to every one of you, who support our mission, and who helped us save the big old Belgian horse from being sent to slaughter. Just knowing he is safe and will be headed to quarantine in less then two days.. brings so much happiness to my soul. I am dying to meet him.. kiss him.. love him... and I decided to name him Beau, chosen by my team member and friend @kittycaitskittens. There aren’t enough words in the dictionary to express my gratitude to every single one of you. You all are my hero’s. Meanwhile, the animal rights march is in less then 5 days! This is my first year going, and to be marching amongst @boochaces, @goatsofanarchy , @twistoffatefarmsanctuary , @enchantedfarmsanctuary and thousands of fellow soldiers of the animal rights movement... HONORED. No other word to describe it, no other way to put it.. it is a memory that I’ll never be able to replace ❤️ To be honest with you.. I am a little nervous. Im petrified of crowds, tight spaces and being trapped. It is a very big reason I have never attended a march in the past. However, millions of animals every day are trapped in small confined spaces, cramped in between their brothers, sisters, covered in filth.. awaiting death. Their lives matter.. they need to be heard, and if they continue to suffer cause of human greed and ignorance.. then you better believe I can get over my fears and march for them. I am angry for them. I see their pain and suffering every day. I see people taking pictures of dairy cows in metal shoots and calling them “happy cows”. Im sorry, do you want to be locked in a metal shoot while your nipples are squeezed?! I don’t. Vegans and activists aren’t here to ruin your summer bbq. We are just trying to tell you there’s no reason to cause another being harm to enjoy dinner. So many people ask me “well what do you eat?!” What don’t I eat?! I literally fell asleep in the bath tub the other night eating a pint of vegan cookie doe ice cream. Save the world. Save the animals. Go Vegan
