Mission: Hannah House, founded in 1979, provides structured, caring homes and supportive services for homeless women with and without children. We help residents build healthy families and work toward their goals, which may include life-long recovery from addiction, an improved sense of self, and independent living.
Programs: Our structured program, called the HERS program, focuses Hannah House clients on the areas of Housing, Employment, Recovery, and Self-Awareness. Residents of the HERS program stay six months. THEIRS is a family reunification program for five women and their children. The program combines our original program model with the areas of Togetherness and Independence. THEIRS provides our clients with comprehensive services for the development of healthy and stable families. Residents of the THEIRS program stay one year.
