I was given a year to complete 24 hours of community service. 30 days before it was due, I was panicking. Then I found hand on san diego. They made it possible for me to complete my hours on time. Thank you so much . I'd recommend it .

I have signed up for volunteering this place. I volunteered here for 10+ hours in a period of 2 weeks during holidays. I signed as I want to give back something for the society as part of holidays.

Here you will be treated as laborers. The mind set of this place is that everyone volunteers here comes from court ordered hours and so we can treat them as laborers and not as a volunteer who wants to give something back to the society.

They will not check you in first place. You will be only scooping the poop in different horse's stall. The lady over here, treats you at the end of the time like, how come you clean only 3 stalls and not all? The attitude of this lady people here is that people who come here needs court volunteered hours and so all will listen to all her BS.

I went there for assuming good intention initially that she was not organized then realized her attitude. One day as usual I went and performed the work for 3 hours and no one to check in.
Sent text to the lady the check in time and check out time, pictures of the cleaning I have accomplished that day.

Few days passed by she never checked in the hours I had volunteered. finally reached out to her and she was accusing you that you did not clean well and how come you did only few stalls compared to her assumption of cleaning all the stalls. She was asking in 3 hours you only cleaned 3 stalls? how come?

The reality of this place is the horses here are wild and you have to distract them to enter into the stall and clean the poops. If it is raining, then you cannot do the rate she was thinking you will do.

I confronted her on the that day and finally she realized that I am volunteering for fun and not under any court order and cannot take all the BS she was giving me.

I cancelled all the future enrollments and stopped going there.

Caution: - Anyone thinks that you can have some interactions with animals, or I love animals and wants to give some of your time to help the rescued animals, this is NOT the place to sign up for. All you do is scoop the poop and get rated as low-class worker who do not the job fast enough.
