Hands4Uganda is an incredible organization, run by passionate individuals with a shared mission to enhance the life of all students at Rock of Ages and their families. I believe what makes Hands4Uganda so successful is the incredible team they have both here and in Uganda.
In October of 2018, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Rock of Ages with Hand4Uganda. It was a trip I will remember forever and Uganda became a place I will always hold close to my heart. Betty and Abdu are not only are generous with their time and resources, but they are incredibly passionate about giving every student the opportunity to succeed. Through their sponsorship program, each child attending school is guaranteed food, education, a uniform, and safe environment to grow and learn. I am confident knowing that my sponsorship is making a difference and encourage anyone who is interested to get involved. H4U is the BEST!

Hands4Uganda is everything you want a not-for-profit to be. It is ran by individuals who love and care for the children at Rock of Ages on such a deep and committed level that it inspires you to want to match their enthusiasm and give back as much as you can. I went on my first mission trip in 2011 and again in 2016 and have seen first-hand the amount of work and growth Hands4Uganda has contributed to make the world a little better. I have also taken part of the sponsorship program in which they offer. The money I send each month ensures my girl's school fees are covered and she has food at home. I receive multiple thank you letters from my sponsored child alongside updated pictures throughout the year. Hands4Uganda is well organized and thought out leaving you with the surety that your money is well spent and is going to make a difference. Without question, I would recommend going through Hands4Uganda if you are seeking for an opportunity to give back as well as embarking on a life changing adventure.

This organization helps real children & their families get the education, food, and healthcare they need. I have met and worked with several people who have visited the school. They regularly send updates from the sponsored children, and they are simply doing good in this world. Betty & Abdu have also been able to come visit. They are wonderful people with a passion to serve.

Hands4Uganda truly cares for the students who attend Rock of Ages school. The organization goes above and beyond to ensure that each student is accounted for and cared for. I know my donations are being utilized to better the lives of the students. Through sponsorship, you provide a student with an education, a guaranteed meal each day, clean water, and medical care. I have seen firsthand the incredible work that H4U does to support students and their families. H4U is composed of extremely passionate individuals who work incredibly hard to actively change lives and support those in dire need.

I went with this organization traveling to Africa to assist in the installation of a water system and construct a school building. I was deeply impressed by their commitment to excellence, desire to do as much business as possible through African labor and exacting financial accountability. Every dollar spent had to be accounted for to leadership.

Karla and her team are really trying to empower Ugandan's with a vision to do more for education in their country, and I love that the school is lead and taught by Ugandans! The slow but steady improvement in the school, in the graduates, in the female attendance - all goes to show it's working.

I have been a part of this organization since its beginning and I cannot believe the growth and expansion that has occurred over the past 10 years. Every dollar is used responsibly and makes a world of difference for the community H4U serves in Uganda. I have seen firsthand how much my sponsorship has changed not only a students life, but her families life. When in UG I learned that Immaculate, lived with a small two room home with five siblings, and a 2 year old cousin. All were taken care of by their grandmother. They slept on the floor together, using mosquito nets H4U had given them years ago as blankets and cardboard with old clothes as mattresses. The only furniture in the house was a small 18"x18" table. For less than $500 I was able to have these bunkbeds made, purchase mattresses, sheets, a table, chairs, storage chest, and a new stove, cooking and eating utensils. Now Immaculate and her entire family of 7 sleeps well and can live a more comfortable life. If you are looking for a real experience in service, even from a world away, this is an organization you won't be disappointed with. And if you get the chance to go to Uganda. GO.

I love knowing that the money that is donated to this non profit is going to help impoverished children who otherwise wouldn't have a chance at an education.
It's affordable to contribute monthly and you can follow along and watch the progress of the school Rock of Ages in Mbiiko Uganda!

Hands4Uganda is making a big difference to the children who attend Rock of Ages Community School in Mbiko, Uganda. Prostitution thrives in Mbiko because it's location at an African crossroad. Trucks line the road every night and the women make themselves available.

Rock of Ages was started in 2007 by Betty Wasswa, a Ugandan who sought to serve the children of these women. It is now a full primary school serving over 250 students. The school is supported largely thru sponsorship. Each sponsored child receives an education, medical care, a lunch each day they attend school. The school is impacting the lives of the children, their families and the community.

When you sponsor a child 90% of your donation goes to supporting the school and your child.

It's been 5 years already since Hands4Uganda organized into a 501c3 and the noticeable difference in the health and learning levels of the students is remarkable! Due, in part, to the percentage of each contribution (90%) that actually makes it in the hands of the partners in Uganda at Rock of Ages school and also the dedication of those here in the States and those in Uganda. The continued growth of Rock of Ages school is amazing! Now that land has been purchased, it'll be marvelous to watch the next chapter as funds are raised for building.
