Through Hands of Hope, I support vulnerable children who are currently living in Children's Homes in Indiana, El Salvador and India. Part of what makes Hands of Hope "different" is their desire to "go deep" with the children and their caretakers. As one way to achieve that goal, Hands of Hope organizes trips annually to each of the Children's Homes that they partner with (there are 2 others in addition to the ones I am involved with.) I just returned from a weekly long trip to India to visit our Children's Home partner in that country and am just blown away at the impact that this home is having. Not only in providing a safe, nurturing place for 87 children. But also in their effort to prepare the kids for their life after they age out of the home through vocational training and educational tutoring/college preparation.
I've had the pleasure of working with this nonprofit for over a year, serving not only the organization but also the many families and communities impacted by our programs. We are making a tangible difference in foster care and adoption while equipping organizations, churches, and child-serving agencies to create lasting, sustainable change. The passion and dedication of this team are unmatched, as they tirelessly serve vulnerable children and families in crisis.
