Causes: Neighborhood & Block Associations
Mission: To exercise, promote and protect the privileges and interests of the community, to foster a healthy interest in the civic affairs of the community; to develop good citizenship; and to inquire into civic abuses and to seek reformation thereof.
Programs: Planting and maintaining flowers, trees and plants in the various common areas and parklands in hampton bays, ny. The association also places memorial benches around the town to honor citizens who have passed and held the same ideals.
the hbba, through its volunteers, working with government, other community organizations and business shares the common purpose of beautifying the physical surroundings of hampton bays. The value of beautification is clearly recognized as a major factor in attracting new residents, elevating tourism and sustaining the economy.
