Causes: Disaster Aid, Disaster Preparedness & Relief Services
Mission: The organization provides professional fire and emergency medical services to the residents of the hamilton fire district in hamilton, north carolina.
Programs: During the year, we responded to approximately 50 fire calls and approximately 200 emergency medical service calls. All members, except one, of the fire and emergency medical services department are volunteers. We provide the necessary training as required by north carolina law to provide the best services available to the district's citizens. During this fiscal year we began filing claims with insurance companies for medical transport provided to citizens carrying health insurance. Payment is not requested from the individual in the event that the claim is denied by the insurance company.
