Programs: Begun as a house of hospitality in 1966, Haley House has since developed into a multi-faceted organization that addresses human needs through four unique, interconnected branches: • The direct services program: a soup kitchen, food pantry, senior meal program, and clothing room in the South End • The housing program: 106 units of permanent, affordable housing scattered throughout the South End • The farming program: an 18-acre biodynamic farm in Winchendon Springs, Massachusetts and a school-based urban community garden in the South End • The bakery café: a social enterprise complete with a full-service café, catering, and wholesale departments, balanced with extensive community programming in Roxbury’s Dudley Square
