Mission: Haiti Outreach Pwoje Espwa (H.O.P.E.) partners with the people of Borgne, Haiti to promote and sustain community well-being through health, education, and economic initiatives. Working & learning together, we realize the potential to transform ourselves and the world around us.

Programs: Hope has worked on devloping the infrastructure around health services provided to people in the borgne area of haiti. Through a partnership with the haitian ministry of health, and major funding from a grant from the red cross, hope has aided in building asb community hospital and clinic to serve the people in the area. The hospital is the only one within reach of 80,000 people. Locals rely on the hospital to provide them with medical care when faced with injujries, illnesses, or even epidemics. Annually the hospital treats over 35,000 people. The goals of the hospital is to provide preventative and primary care medicine to the entire community.

hope provides funding for staff,supplies and services for the alyans sante borgne community hospital and health facillities. The service provides traveling outreach programs to the remote areas of borgne. This opportunity allows medical professionals to make routine visits and educate the people of borgne and treat those in need. Increased visits, and more adequately equipped staffed will eliminate many of the serious health risks early enough to greatly improve conditions.

other programs include a mobile teachers program which focuses on helping children, ages 4 through 7, go from nothing to something by way of education. This program serves approximately 300 children. Mobile clinics help treat and educate many haitians who would otherwise never see a physcian. These programs are needed to battle the extreme poverty and challenges people face everyday. Medicine and lab supplies are used in various borgne locations including the hospitals and the traveling clinics to help battle disease and illness before it becomes serious.
