Mission: Haiti H2O: Hope to Opportunity partners with local leaders in rural Haiti, investing in Haitian-led solutions for remote villages through construction, agriculture, healthcare, and micro-business projects.
Our supporters in the U.S. have established strong relationships with our Haitian partners over the years and have even traveled to Haiti to work on projects together. However, our main goal is to empower Haitians to accomplish their goals for their communities.
We affirm the dignity of local Haitians by listening to and following community leaders’ recommendations. Their priorities give our staff direction in how to invest resources to build on local strengths.
Results: These partnerships have produced three churches, three schools, five composting toilets, a bread oven business, a local corn grinder, mobile medical clinics, nine homes and an ongoing livestock exchange program.

I have been a friend and supporter of Haiti H2O since its inception, and I am grateful for this organization's holistic approach to bringing transformation—hope and opportunity—to rural communities in Haiti. Haiti H2O offers a down-to-earth model of mutuality and partnership which embodies the Gospel command to love our neighbors as ourselves. I whole-heartedly recommend Haiti H2O as worthy of support and participation.
I have volunteered with Haiti H2O in several capacities. What I am most impressed about is the leadership of the organization and their understanding of how to work with communities. They are not a "rush in on a white horse to help the people and then leave" type of organization, but believe that true transformation comes through establishing trusting relationships and working towards a common goal. I highly recommend this charity to anyone interested in making a difference in the lives of people of Haiti by helping the people become self-sustaining and have a hope for the future.
