Causes: Health, Heart & Circulatory System Diseases & Disorders
Mission: Haiti cardiac alliance works with partners to scale up the availability of life-saving cardiac surgery to all haitian children and young adults who need it.
Programs: Direct surgical matching and travel accompaniment of children and young adults with heart disease. During fy16, haiti cardiac alliance directly facilitated surgery for 90 children, 57 of whom had surgery outside of haiti.

diagnosis, screening, and follow-up. Hca performs outpatient cardiology clinics at multiple sites throughout haiti for patients who need initial diagnosis, check-up, and/or post-operative follow-up. During fy15, over 1000 patients were seen by visiting volunteer cardiologists during these clinics.
