Haiti Air Ambulance is one of those rare entities that makes the world a little better place. In a place where providing high quality health care is challenging in the best of times, Haiti Air Ambulance is raising the bar. Their ability to access very difficult locations and provided top quality, emergency advanced life support care is unparalleled.
AND- they willingly provide this care to some of the most vulnerable populations in Haiti that will never be able to monetarily repay them.
They are truly Guardian Angels of Haiti.
I had the opportunity to volunteer with HAA this past May. I don’t even know where to begin when describing what an incredible organization this is! They are the only air medical transport service in the country and provide access to definitive medical care for patients who would otherwise have little to no access to healthcare. They fly to pick up patients in remote areas of the country and bring them back to hospitals that are able to provide the necessary medical care that is needed. They also are able to treat and care for these patients the second they arrive on scene and make patient contact. Patient treatment and advanced care starts as soon as the flight crew arrives and continues throughout transport.
HAA is one of the best non profit service I ever heard about. They are very professional with their work and help to save more lives. I had a lot of great experiences with them at Mirebalais It would have been great having more services like them.
Haiti air ambulance is dream like company for many health care providers including me. I remember when i was doing my internship at the University state hospital of Haiti. We often have to deal with some patients that needs to be transferred to another facility. With the continuous heavy traffic in a city like port-au-prince and the lack of equipment in some ambulances cause the deaths of many patients in the middle of the trip. Haiti air ambulance is one of the most affordable air transport service out there or the only one. They come to the rescue of many patients in this particular context of COVID-19 where they transport COVID-19 patients from every where to mirebalais hospital white the adequate staff and stuff.
Its definitely a great pleasure for me to review Haiti air ambulance.
With roads block every time, HAA help us a lot of with patients transfer. Especially when incubated. Last time we had a patient with multiple ribs fracture and bilateral flail chest who needed to be intubated and because we don't have ICU we call HAA to transfer him to another hospital. They called yesterday to tell me he's extubated and ready to be tranfered to the floor. I just say Thanks to HAA.
I know I have been Haiti for a while but I know my friend told me about air ambulance and what incredible job they are doing in Haiti . I am so happy that Haiti have found this service .keep on the good work guys.
I work in a rural Emergency Department in the southern peninsula. Haiti Air Ambulance, the only medical helicopter service in the country, is a key a partner to help us transfer our critical patient to other facilities in the country. And at the end of July, HAA bring the first covid vaccines to the south. Thank you HAA!

Dr. Seuss once wrote "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better." It is no secret that Haiti continues to face significant challenges. As a firm believer that to those whom much is given, much is expected, I pledge to continue to give my time and money to this worthy organization. As a member of the air medical community for almost 30 years, I have been blessed to have seen many best practices throughout the United States. Many of these programs have been working for a decade or more to achieve the same safety and quality record that HAA has achieved in its 7 years of operations. And as a boots-on-the-ground HAA volunteer flight nurse for the past 5 years, I have personally witnessed the head, heart, and hands that have made this all possible. In addition to my time, I financially contribute as well, knowing that my donations help Haiti Air Ambulance provide hope for survival - often the only hope - for the people of Haiti. And I will gladly continue to spread the word about the good work they are doing so that others may be inclined to contribute however they see fit as well!
I have volunteered and worked with Haiti Air Ambulance Services Inc since 2017 and am continually impressed by their dedication to the mission and the people of Haiti. There is truly hope in the sky over Haiti.
I have my uncle who was in a coma , in the hospital where he was the couldn’t taken care of, he had to go to another hospital, I called Haitiairambulance it was very good , the took my uncle to another hospital where they can take care of, my uncle is going back to work for the moment. What a wonderful organization! The staff is so dedicated to helping the people of Haiti regardless of where they live or their ability to pay. Saving lives and keeping families intact is one of the most honorable causes I can think of. Thanks why I regularly donate to HAA even though I have never been to Haiti myself.
