Linda and Kim are amazing and so dedicated to this cause. Our office team did a volunteer build day and it was so very rewarding for all involved. I highly recommend connecting with them to gain this experience for yourself and make a great impact in our local community in the process.

Habitat has been so wonderful when I needed a home right away. They have helped me through rough times as well.

I was invited to come here as volunteer and I think it's a priviledge to come here. I got to know the staff and the other volunteers and it's a very positive experience for me. It makes me feel good to be able to help others. I was able to be a part of building walls for a family's house and I get to be part of the vision of this place by helping people everyday.

It's rewarding for me being able to help all different types of people. Then in doing so, all of the money goes towards providing families with their forever homes. This place offers many different types of merchandise; new, used and refurbished. You can come purchase different things to create your own unique style of design. And then to top it off the service is very family oriented, cheerful, helpful and rewarding.

I love to be with people and spend time helping to repair ReStore items. I also enjoy sharing my woodworking skills by making tables, puzzles, log cabins and bird houses to sell as fundraisers. This will be my 30th year of volunteering and counting. Ray Eggleston

In my retirement, the ReStore of Magic Valley Habitat for Humanity in Twin Falls, Idaho, has given me a focus for my time and skills. Almost every day I go to the work bench at the back of the store and repair items, mostly ceiling fans, so they can be put out for sale. Sometimes the other workers ask me to identify tools or parts. I enjoy the staff people and being able to help this worthy cause.

I love to give back to the community and the ReStore is the perfect place for me to give back. We have an awesome atmosphere, super friendly people and a willing, can-do attitude! We also have great merchandise, you have to see it to believe it! If you want to save money on products you can't find anywhere else or you can find elsewhere at double the price, come here!

I am extremely grateful for the dedication that Habitat for Humanity has shown my 2 kids & myself. Without it, we wouldn't finally be in our 'Forever Home'! They serve & they serve well! You will never come across a more caring group of individuals whose main objective is to get people into homes. This whole experience has changed our lives for the greater! That 'feeling' of coming 'home' hasn't left us, it won't ever leave us! We love Habitat for Humanity! ❤

This local group of volunteers and donors are relentless in their pursuit of helping people build a home. They helped a couple I know and it changed them forever. The enthusiasm and dedication is something I rarely see today.

We are the McClaflin family, we are a partner family w Habitat for humanity! We have loved getting to experience the great and many things Habitat does for the community. It's been such a great experience for our family. Not only did we get to build a home, but we also get a chance to help give back.

I visited the Twin Falls Habitat for Humanity Restore on a recent trip from Montana. I was delighted to see how well organized and clean the store and merchandise were kept. In fact it was the most orderly store of its kind I have ever shopped in. The staff are warm, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to repurpose home building materials and fixtures either for donations or building or upgrading your own project.

Habitat for Humanity does amazing work by helping families build decent and affordable housing in our area. I have personally had the opportunity to work with families and work with the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is a true "working board" that requires a lot of hands to make the work load lighter. The determination of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director, ReStore Manager and the ENTIRE Habitat for Humanity team helps families experience the joy of owning their own home. Working hard and building homes!

Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley changes lives for the better. I work here and see it from the inside. I am able to work with our current homeowners and future homeowners; all of whom we partner with in building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. I see the beauty of lives improved. I am able to work with fabulous volunteers who think of others and want to better our community. I am able to work with incredibly generous donors, who give of their goods and money to further our mission. I am honored to work with the best people with whom I have ever been associated. I know for a fact Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley changes lives for the better...it has changed mine to a life of joyful service!

I have seen firsthand how Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley is changing lives. I am the current office coordinator for the affiliate and this is the best job I have ever held. I get to work with our partner families and see how this not only helps them realize a dream, but it teaches the whole family concepts of giving and generosity as they help other families with their homes or at the ReStore. I get to work with the volunteers and I see examples of such selfless giving, heroic altruism and community spirit that it occasionally brings me to tears. I get to work with the donors and I see what has to be the most generous people on the face of this earth. If it's goods or funds, this community is bountiful and charitable. We are so blessed. I love my job and I love the people with whom I work. They sincerely want to do so much good for the Magic Valley. I am lucky to be among them.

As a relatively new board member, and a relatively new resident of Twin Falls, I am still learning a lot about the impact Habit for Humanity of the Magic Valley has had--and is having--in our area. It is rewarding and humbling to be part of an organization that cares so deeply about such a fundamental need. Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley provides many opportunities for community members to come together to provide for others in a very practical way, and its a wonderful thing to see.

As a Board Member with Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley for the last six years I have witnessed the heart and soul that goes into providing affordable, decent housing for families in Southern Idaho. The Executive Director and Staff work side-by-side with volunteers and donors helping families secure new and renovated "forever homes". It is a true joy to watch members of the community come alongside of their neighbors as they transition from dilapidated or inadequate housing into a home where there is space to grow and flourish! If you are looking for a way to give back to your community with hands, heart, and your whole-self there is no better way than spending a Saturday hammering nails, checking out the ReStore, participating in the Annual Rim to Rim race for homes every September, or just making a donation that ensures that we build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter in Southern Idaho and throughout the world!

I was homeless for due to domestic violence. They expedited my application and within a couple weeks of homelessness, I was accepted. I have been in my home almost 4 years now. It is a great blessing!

I am currently the president for Habitat of the Magic Valley, and have been on the board for over 4 years. I am immensely impressed how our board, volunteers and Restore employees have weathered through this pandemic that has been our new norm for the past months. We were great before this and even stepped it up to become a brighter non profit. Our Restore has done a great job throughout my time on the board but the past year has been amazing! All due to our commitment!! I am blessed to belong to this wonderful family we call our non profit!! Tricia~

As a volunteer, I am happy to say that Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley is an organization committed to their mission of providing the opportunity of affordable housing to their partner families. As a former builder, I am impressed by the quality of the construction and how well they manage their volunteers, many of whom have no experience but a great deal of enthusiasm. It is affirming to participate in their activities, because the end result is a real house that will quickly become a home.

I am a front row witness of how this Habitat affiliate has grown and matured since Linda Fleming became the Executive Director many years ago. The number of the volunteers, the many houses built, the community contacts made, the excellent fundraisers including the very popular Rim-to -Rim Race have made the Twin Falls Affiliate exceptional.

Habitat For Humanity of the Magic Valley is an amazing organization helping Southern Idaho families realize the dream of affordable home ownership through fervent passion and hard work. Through hundreds of hours of service and dedication we were able to buy a home from habitat that provided a path to self-reliance and peace of mind that empowered us to focus on life and a pursuit of thriving for our family.

Habitat for Humanity knows that having a secure home is a family's first step in climbing the ladder of success in society.
But Habitat for Humanity in Twin Falls, Idaho takes that ladder one step higher by encouraging emphasis on education: each new Habitat family has a bookcase (made from recycled wood) filled with reference books (dictionary, atlas, health book, family cook book, fairy tales) and fiction books based on the ages and interests of the family members. This is made possible at no cost thanks to the local Barnes and Noble contributing unsold books. Information on obtaining a library card is also included.
The leadership of the Board, Executive Director, and staff is innovative, extremely hard working, and visionary.

I have worked with Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley on many occasions. This nonprofit has been exceptionally serving the Magic Valley for over 20 years. Their staff and board supports families through home ownership and their Restore has saved thousands of pounds from landfills.

Call me biased (My sister Linda is the director at HFHMV) but this group of wonderful people at the ReStore and HFHMV do amazing work to provide homes for deserving families. I have had the pleasure of assisting in the Rim2Rim Race for homes for most of the last 10 years including this past race during COVID 19 where they managed to raise over $30,000 to build homes. Linda and her group work tirelessly and amazes me over and over. I consider it a blessing to be able to call all of them friends and Linda as my sister. Keep up the great works.
