Mission: Seeking to put god's love into action,
Programs: Habitat partners with low income families to build and sell them their own home. Homeowners must qualify based on income, credit, and willingness to volunteer, take financial classes, and buy their home. Houses are built primarily by volunteers and with donations to keep sale costs low. All houses are sold with no interest, profit, and at affordable levels to the homeowner. This year hfhmc completed three homes and started a fourth.
the restore is a discount home improvement and building supply store restore reuses, recycles, and resells functional building materials, tools, furniture and appliances, thereby diverting hundreds of tons of useable materials from landfills. Customers are provided a low cost option to improve the quality of their home.
