Mission: Habitat for Humanity, LaSalle County is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty housing and homelessness from the north-central Illinois counties of LaSalle, Bureau and Putnam. It works on the conviction that everyone should be allowed to own a simple, decent, safe, and affordable place to live. Habitat selects a partner family who is currently living in substandard housing and is willing to purchase the home from Habitat.
