Mission: To assist in aleviating poverty by providing an avenue for homeownership for qualifying low income families in lawrence county tennessee. This is accomplished by building modest housing using volunteer labor and conveying these houses to the low income families through no-interest or very low- interest mortgages. The entity holds a lien on the homes until the mortgages are completely paid. Volunteers of the entity assist the families in budgeting and make certain that the properties are insured and maintained until the mortgage is complete.
