I am consistently amazed by how much of an impact this ministry makes on the lives of people in our community. Not only do families have the opportunity to purchase a home with Habitat, they get the tools to be successful homeowners too! Beyond that, volunteers have a space to share their talents with the community all while learning new skills! Habitat is a place of partnership and hope.

This is by far the best Habitat affiliate in the state of Ohio. Everybody from the staff to the volunteers are the most genuine, kind, and giving people. The hope they provide to families in this region is powerful - you can feel it the moment you step onto a work site. Amazing organization - I forever wish them nothing but the best.

Volunteering at Habitat for Humanity ECO gives a great opportunity to work alongside the families who are going through the program as they put in their "sweat equity" hours (between 250 and 500 are required). There are many ways to get involved, from helping on construction sites, teaching classes, being a Financial Money Mentor, or just baking cookies or providing a hot lunch for a volunteer group. Some volunteers enjoy stocking shelves with donated merchandise at the ReStore. Go over and see how you can help make a difference in the lives of a local family. It's fun and very rewarding.

This Habitat affiliate in East Central Ohio has been an inspiration for hundreds of families across three different counties for over 30 years and they are still going strong!! Helping families, improving neighborhoods, building parks, holding social functions in these communities, they do it all. You'll never meet a staff of folks that are more friendly, open-minded, and loving than these that work and volunteer at Habitat ECO.
