Mission: To promote and support h. Lee moffitt cancer center and research institute, inc (cancer center), h. Lee moffitt cancer center and research institute hospital (hospital), and h. Lee moffitt cancer continued on schedule ofoundation by employing physicians who staff the hospital, by managing their practice and by employing the clinical scientists who provide clinical research services.
Programs: H. Lee moffitt cancer center and research institute lifetime cancer screening center, inc. ("lcs") employs the physicians (known as the moffitt medical group) that staff the hospital and provide clinical research services to the cancer center health care system. The provision of practice management services to its employed physicians and clinical scientists enhances the efficiency of healthcare and research services provided by these employees. This benefits all entities in the cancer center health care system and promotes and supports the research and academic missions of the cancer center health care system.
