Target demographics: The less fortunate community members with living essentials, and affordable goods.
Geographic areas served: Dallas, OR. Polk County and surrounding areas.
Programs: Provided food and affordable goods to dallas and polk county residents through our large thrift store in dallas, oregon. We sold over 300,000 of used goods and provided food and donated goods to those in need.
we provided employment in a well-structured, supportive working environment for 14 local community members not including the manager and secretary. For some of our employees, this is the first significant employment experience and a boost to their resumes. In addition, we provided job training and community service opportunities for students and other members of the community.
