Mission: Maintain GWHS' status as San Francisco's leading comprehensive public high school and its academic, athletic and extracurricular excellence for all students by engaging support from alumni and community.
Results: We've given hundreds of grants - from under $100 to over $10,000 - for classroom supplies and student activities unobtainable through the district budget. The Association also bestows scholarships and Principal's Cup awards (with cash grants) to college-bound seniors. But we can do so much more to give students the tools they need to obtain meaningful education at GWHS and beyond, which is their road to a promising future.

Geographic areas served: San Francisco's Richmond District
Programs: Grants for under/unfunded classroom supplies and student activities, and scholarships to promising college-bound seniors based on academic achievement, community service and financial need.
