I donated for my fur baby rescue.
Bandit fell 25 feet from a parking garage when he was younger. Time has taken its toll on this 13 year old Husky Shepard mix. His owner could not give him the care he needs and now he has been with us for 3 years now.
Bandit has a lot of life in him. He is so strong pulling himself up and getting around.
He so wants to go for a walk when we go to the lake. Unfortunately he cannot make it around a block.
I am so glad I came across this organization. We cannot wait to receive his wheels.
My big boy Ace, a elder rescue ended up with spinal myelopathy. His legs started to atrophy and I asked a friend that is a foster mom of Boxers if she knew of anywhere I could get wheels for Ace. I contacted Gunnar’s Wheels, and Ace was free to move around on his own again. I was so thankful to Gunnar’s Wheels and the crew that helped this big boy get his mobility back. I lost my sweet, loyal Ace that was looking for a home and adopted me in August. But the wheels help us so much and I think highly of Gunnar’s Wheels and will forever sing their praises. Thank you.
Gunnars Wheels is truly amazing. I have a 12 year old Dachshund (Lucy)woke up one morning and her back legs did not work. I heard of Gunnars Wheels from the internet and I'm so glad I did. I messaged them and within a week a wheel chair was delivered to our home for her. It made a world of difference. It gave Lucy her freedom to go outside on her own again. I don't know what we would have done if it weren't for Gunnar. I can never thank you enough. Thank you, thank you. What a wonderful group to do this for so many pets.
I first saw Gunnar's Wheels on the net and commented that I wished there was a similar charity in the UK, also that we had a German Shepherd with mobility problems. I struck up a conversation with the founder of Gunnar's, Jason Parker, and unbelievably within 3 weeks of the conversation backwards and forwards from Scotland UK to USA we received a cart for our GSD Max. Within days of receiving the cart, Max was running with his pack mates in the fields again. He gained an extra 9 months of fulfilling life with the cart generously donated by Gunnar's Wheels. We could never have afforded one of these carts so with out Gunnar's Wheels, Max would have had to be put to sleep earlier. Thankyou is not enough, we will be forever grateful for the extra enjoyment Max had, forever.

Max was crippled by spinal problems, I saw Jason Parker on the net and commented that I wished there was a charity like Gunnars Wheels in the UK. We began chatting and within 3 weeks we received a cart for Max, totally free of charge! This gave Max and us 9 extra months of wonderful life.
When we had to let Max go we sent the cart to another deserving dog.
We cannot thank Jason and Gunner and Gunnars Wheels enough.
Our animals are part of the family, so when my 15 year old pug began having health issues we searched for everything possible to make her comfortable. After several doctors visits we learned she most likely had a brain tumor that caused a stroke and caused her front legs to become very unstable. She quickly lost all use of them and her quality of life was slowly declining. I had started to research wheelchair options in Hope's of making our own and sent a message to Gunnars Wheels simply looking for advice on what style chair would be best. I never expected them to offer us a complimentary set of wheels. They were extremely helpful with getting the correct measurements and making sure everything was all set to go. Once we got our beloved dog up and going again, she had a new light to her. After months of being immobilized she was finally able to stand up and wheel around the backyard. We were given a very poor diagnosis from veterinarians but she managed to perk up and love 8 months longer than anyone expected. Without her wheelchair I do not think we would have gotten the chance to see our dog happy again and properly celebrate her last days. We are incredibly grateful for the gift we recieved and our hearts were lifted knowing that once we returned the chair it would be going to help another dog live its life to the fullest. We still support and donate to this wonderful organization and love seeing all the updates and success stories on their social media feed. Every animal deserves a second chance at mobility and Gunnars Wheels helps make that happen without asking for anything in return.

I miraculously found this group after searching for ways to build a wheelchair for my dog who could suddenly not walk or stand due to a stroke caused by a brain tumor. I reached out to them for advice and they kindly offered to donate a chair to my beloved senior dog. Our dog was able to be herself again and being in the chair gave her almost another year past her terminal diagnosis. Being immobile is depressing for animals and Gunnars Wheels brings joy to their lives again.
I volunteer with an animal rescue in Tulsa, OK and we currently have a dog named Gabrielle who is paralyzed in the back half of his body. I'm excited to say he now has a wheel chair from Gunner's Wheels and it has changed his life around so much! Gunner Wheels is awesome and helps so many animals like him to have a better life. Thank you Gunner Wheels!
Gunners Wheels is absolutely the best! They help so many animals in need. I just cannot say enough about their generosity and kindness. You only have to visit their Facebook site and watch the videos of dogs using the wheelchairs that were donated to them. They have made such a difference in so many dogs' lives. Thanks to them these animals are living rewarding lives.
I recently Lost to my 18-year-old and 3 1/2 months golden retriever named Chester. Gunner’s Wheels sent me a cart for him to use as an assist so he could continue going for walks and live as full of a life as possible. Chester‘s world has been expanded beyond the end of our driveway. This made him mentally happy. Gunner’s Wheels was extremely helpful and getting the wheels to me and helping me with measuring and setting them up. They should be highly commended for all the help they give many, many handicapped pets out there in the world!
Displaced Pets Rescue has had two amazing interactions with Gunners Wheels. Remmy and Ariel have both received wheels from them. They are doing wonderfully. Remmy never missed a beat. He was running within moments. Ariel is going to take a bit longer as she needs to learn what her feet are for. She is beginning to find the ground and it won't be long before she is walking in them.
They helped my dog get a chair, it was the only thing that gave him the ability to stand in his last weeks. We are forever great full.
Our dog Jordan was slowly losing the use of her back legs due to DM and we were struggling financially at the time. We tried to figure out how to make a wheelchair, but were failing miserably in our efforts. Then a friend recommended Gunnars Wheels and within a few weeks we had a wheelchair for her. It's now a year and a half later and Jordan is able to still take 3 daily walks with us thanks to that wheelchair. We even get to go for walks inside a nearby mall each week and she can meet all of the other dogs at their level while she's in her wheelchair. We love Gunnars Wheels!
I just follow them on fb and they are so caring my dog has arthritis and today she couldn't put any weight on her back left foot I am hoping that this will just last for a day but she is a lab mix and if it doesn't I may have to see if I can get wheels for her and their story is very touching
Jason Parker of Gunnar’s Wheels is a wonderful person and his nonprofit helps so many animals that need wheelchairs.
He also helped with hurricane Harvey and is willing to do it again. Thank you Jason for being so big hearted to help those with special needs.
Gunnar’s wheels provided a wheeled cart for our golden retriever, allowing him to maintain his mobility after losing function in his back legs due to a tumor on his spine. Free of charge. The only thing they asked was that I return the cart when I no longer needed it so they could pass it on to another dog in need.
Gunnar’s wheels helped my dog when he lost mobility of his back legs. He was sent a large wheelchair at no cost to myself and is now moving around again.
When our vet referred us to Gunnars for our senior dog we were nervous. But Beth and Jayson have been so wonderful. After 1 email and a phone call they had a wheelchair on its way to us. Our girl is still getting used to being around it and near it, but Jayson has been so helpful! What a wonderful foundation this is. What a blessing they are to creatures in need!
Jason from Gunnar's Wheels is awesome. I sent him a photo of my corgi Mika who has DM in an ill fitting cart I was given. He called me soon afterwards
After getting Mika's measurements, a beautiful new cart was quickly on it's way to us !Thank you Gunnar's Wheels!!
Gunner's Wheels is the most wonderful foundation. They got a message from me and immediately called me on the phone and ordered a cart for my dog. I mean, who does that? I couldn't believe how caring these people are. To give so much of themselves and the love they show these animals is something you don't see a lot of these days. They truly care. My dog was able to live the rest of his days living life instead of watching it pass him by and when he passed, it was gifted to another precious animal that needed the gift of mobility. 5 stars is not even close to what this foundation deserves. They are incredible! Angels on earth. I will be forever grateful to Jason and Gunner's Wheels.
Greatest charity EVER!!! Not only do they help ALL animals with mobility issues, but give hope to their owners!!
Gunnar's Wheels gave my dog the will and confidence to stand and walk again. Without them she may have not been able to survive now she is walking again without the need for any assistive device. Thank you Gunnar's Wheels!!!❤️
Jason approached me with his amazing gift of wheels for a paralyzed dog I rescued, this relationship started that day, with the most respect and love for him. He has helped me so much since in Gunnars name.
I believe in this non profit for all of the wonderful things they do. I have donated money in a pay forward manner in hopes I will never need them for my dog.
We had a baby girl who was born unable to walk. She was paralyzed in the backend. Jason was contacted and we had her little wheels within a week. Fast response to our problem. It is a great organization and we are forever grateful, as our little girl is wheeling part time and walking part time. Again, we are so grateful and happy to have this organization in our lives... Thank you Jason from Jinece, Pat and Baby Girl....
Gunnar’s wheels helped my Husband and I who have a paralyzed beagle who just wanted to run and sniff again
Our greater swiss moutain dog had a seizure and started losing the ability to walk. One FB message and call to Gunnars Wheels and a brand new wheelchair was sent within one week at NO charge. They are amazing and will do anything to help handicapped animals..even deer! After our girl passed we sent the wheelchair back to Gunnars Wheels. It was very comforting to see her chair refurbished and sent to another dog in need. Thank you Gunnars Wheels! You are truly are blessing to so many animals! ❤
Gunnar’s Wheels and the folks there give life and hope. They are responsive and caring and helpful. We are so grateful for their help getting Gracie her wheels. ❤️
My name is Cindy Jo Moore . My cat ( Wobbles ) was a CH cat . Wobbles was one of the early ones that Jason of Gunnar's Wheels helped . When I sent a message to Jason about getting a wheel chair for Wobbles , Jason returned the message the same day . The chair came in little a week . I have followed Gunnar's Wheels for a long time watching how the web site has helped so many other fur babies . Jason and his Family have done an amazing job !!! They have brought people together all over the World . The beautiful part is that it is people helping people to get help to animals everywhere .
What a true life saver for my dog scooby. He didn't want get up and go and once he got his wheels he cheered up and enjoys walking and strengthening his legs even though he doesn't have full use of them.
One of the best Charities around help so many dogs that nobody else would help I donate through Amazon's since I order a lot at work and to AmazonSmile to Gunners Wheels love them!
My Great Dane, Meus, was quickly losing use of his back legs. I contacted Jason to see if I could get plans to DIY wheels for Meus. Jason said no, we'll get you wheels. Less than a week from first contact, Meus had wheels and improved quality of life! We have since lost our big boy and his wheels were returned to be passed on to another dog in need. What a fantastic organization!
They jumped right in and offered to help us, when my 16 yr old boy Rocky lost the use of his back legs. Sweet Rocky passed away before we could get his cart, but loved there passion and compassion for helping all the fur babies!!
My Dog Nikon was 11 1/2 years old and had been declining for about a year. He had DM and lost the ability to walk and even get up. He was so frustrated and unhappy. He barked and cried constantly. we would move him from place to place, but nothing helped. we heard about Wheels for Dogs, but they were beyond anything we could afford for him. He also had many other medical issues, and the expenses for his meds were so high. Then we heard about Gunnar's wheels and wrote them. It was an answer to a prayer. They sent us this beautiful pair of wheels with instructions on a dvd. they were in excellent shape, like new. We had Nikon in them and going to the dog park, and taking walks daily. It really added time to his life, and he was happy. My vet said that it kept his muscles from atrophying. after being out and having some exercise, he was peaceful. I'm so glad his last times with us were of such a better quality. I have continued to recommend Gunnar's wheels to anyone I know who is in this same heartbreaking situation. I wanted to tell the whole world about Gunnar's wheels. and their amazing kindness.
My 12 year old GSD was diagnosed with a degenerative disease that caused her to lose the use of her hind legs. Thanks to Gunnar's Wheels, she was able to remain mobile and enjoy walks in her final months/days. I will be forever grateful to Gunnar's Wheels for this priceless gift and will support them so that other pups and their humans can enjoy romps together.
I personally have not been helped by Gunnar’s Wheels but several friends of mine have. To see the look of happiness on their faces when they realize their pets can walk again is priceless and precious. Thank you Gunnar’s Wheels!
This organization is unbelievable. They step up with no hesitation and provide these wheelchairs for ANY animal in need. They have helped so soooo many.
Never in my life have I met a more caring & generous man than Jason & his nonprofit organization Gunner’s Wheels. While it’s a long story & always brings tears to my eyes I’m only going to give the happy ending. Because of the wheelchair Gunner’s provided for my 95 lb. black lab, Cody was able to live his last year's mobile & happy. He had arthritis so bad he could hardly walk much less run & play. He had always had a very active life. I don’t think he would have lived as long without the wheels. I got to love & enjoy my baby for even longer. ❤️

Gunnars Wheels does so much for those without a voice. Providing wheels for beloved family members. Every story will bring tears of happiness to your eyea
Gunnar’s Wheels is such a wonderful organization. When my King Charles Spaniel, Lucy, was losing the use of her hind legs, I reached out to them. They were so quick to provide a wheelchair and, as a result, Lucy was able to enjoy the last year of her life. When my girl lost her battle with DM, I returned the wheelchair and now another dog is enjoying the gift of mobility. I am forever grateful to Gunnar’s Wheels!
Our cow dog, Ned, was hit by a vehicle while helping us move cattle in June 2018. It devistated is because not only is Ned our working partner, he is our baby. He has never given up on us and we will never give up on him. I reached out to Gunnar’s Wheels and within minutes I was talking on the phone with Jason - he helped us help Ned and we will forever be grateful. Best people and truly angels walking amongst us! Love them and will forever have them in our hearts
Gunners wheels is amazing! We have a cart from them for our boxer, Dobb’s who has degenerative Myelopathy, and his wheels have been a blessing in these times! We can’t thank him enough for having when one of the best foundations!
Amazing Foundation helping pets! They give pets and their owners a second chance to live their lives again! Dont give up on your dog or pet! This is a great foundation that truley cares about animals!
Love the work and passion behind this foundation. The animals being helped by Gunnars Wheels may not have a chance at a quality life and some people may not be equipped to handle these very special animals. Gunnars wheels allows that chance to happen.
My dogs have not had to use the service of Gunnars Wheels, but I follow his foundation and the stories others share. They have helped NUMEROUS animals (not just dogs!) by providing wheels to make them mobile again. The smiles on both the owners & animals faces are so heartwarming! And Jason did all this (beginning with his own dog, Gunnar) out of the goodness of his heart! Gunnars Wheels is an outstanding non-profit!
Gunnar’s Wheels is an amazing program!! I have a foster dog who is so sweet and loving and full of life - only problem is she can’t use her hind legs! She needed some extensive medical care and the local vet gave us a chair for her to use, but it was too small and falling apart. A friend told me to get into contact with Gunnar’s Wheels, and after a wonderful conversation with Jason, the founder, my dog’s new wheels were on the way! Lady has a new lease on life and brings a smile to everyone she meets. I make a donation to them any chance I get!
Thankfully have not needed wheels from Gunnars Wheels but what they do is amazing. So enjoy seeing all these animals moving. Thanks to Gunnars Wheels for helping so many pets and their human families. Myself and my family feel great about being able to help. One of my favorite nonprofits.
Gunnar's Wheels is wonderful. They donated a cart to our rescue dog, Scotty. He had given up on life and was close to euthanasia. The gift of mobility turned everything around for him and he is now a happy and healthy dog. The staff at Gunnar's Wheels continue to offer him support when we have questions about adjusting his cart. Such great people!
Gunnar's Wheels helped us out with Pebbles, who is paralyzed in her back legs. She is happy and healthy, and was adopted by a wonderful woman.
I first heard about Gunnar’s Wheels last year when they offered support for a paralyzed lab in the care of local rescue group and foster. This organization is pure love and anyone who is fortunate enough to cross their path, knows that their only goal is helping animals in need.
My Daughters dog injured his back and we didn’t think there was hope for him. But we heard about Gunnar’s wheels and Jason Parker gave us hope by providing some wheels
For our dog. Gunnar’s wheels foundation helps injured dogs to be mobile again. And Jason really cares about people and dogs.
My girl Ozark lost the use of her back legs. One call to Gunnar's Wheels and she was equipped with her set of wheels within hours. Because of this organization we we're allowed several more months with her which meant the world to us !
Gunnar's Wheels is amazing! They have helped with 2 of my foster dogs. The first was a puppy that was born with Spina bifida and could not use his back legs with the help from Gunnar's Wheels he was able play like a normal puppy. The 2nd wheelchair was for my foster Champ who is a distemper survivor and he can not stand or walk on his own. Without Gunnar's Wheels he wouldn't be able to be the dog he is today. Champ has a special quad wheelchair that he uses everyday to get around. I am deeply greatful for Gunnar's Wheels and all their hard work and dedication to all of the differently abled dogs!
Gunnars Wheels is an amazing organization! I contacted them when my 6 year old Boxer dog, LIzzie, was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy. They responded immediately with suggestions to help with her mobility and quality of life and put her on a waiting list for a set of wheels. In less than two months we were fortunate that Lizzie's name made it to the top of the list and they mailed us a brand new set of wheels completely free of charge. Their communication has been prompt, amazing and full of care of compassion. I highly recommend this wonderful nonprofit!
I rescued a puppy who was thrown from a moving truck, she was so infested with fleas and mange. When I brought her in I noticed she was having trouble walking, we did all kinds of tests only to find her spine was messed up. I reached out to Gunnars Wheels who hooked me up with a chair for my girl so she can get around an be a normal dog. They have been such a huge help I don't know what I would have done without their help and kindness.
Gunnar's Wheels turns tragedy into triumph. We all need these feel good moments in our lives these days.
Gunnar’s wheels is amazing! Compassionate and quick to help those furbabes in real need!
I told my story through tears on email and Jason personally called me to offer a cart and it came in 4 days! I am forever grateful for what his organization did for Mojo and then his brother Gus, inherited the cart the day that Mojo passed!
I donate when ever I can!
Thanks to all Gunnar’s Wheels folks!
Gunnars Wheels work is so needed. As a rescue volunteer I see so many dogs come into rescue that need chairs but funds often aren't there. We focus on their overall health but having that wheelchair and that freedom is such a boost to their overall well-being. Jason is amazing.
I was desperate and scared when my dog became paralyzed. Not only did Gunnar's wheels get my boy a wheelchair, Jason talked to me on the phone for about an hour to answer my questions and help me through the first weeks. I might have put my dog down if I hadn't had so much support.
