Causes: Arts & Culture, Music
Mission: The mission of Guitars Antiqua Music Program is to provide children the opportunity to explore their musical aptitude, to discover an interest in the child's artistic development and to nurture the appreciation of music through discipline, motivation, and involvement.
Target demographics: Helping children explore life with music through the study of the classical guitar
Direct beneficiaries per year: 65-75 students, two school sites and one local studio site
Geographic areas served: cities of Lawndale, Hawthorne, & Gardena in California
Programs: We provide 100 % tuition free, after-school group guitar classes to students in the elementary through high school level.
