I would donate anything I could to GROWL animal rescue. Everyone knows about the big charities like ASPCA but there are so many small nonprofit groups that work tirelessly to help save animals from certain death and find them new homes. Dawn who runs GROWL is one of the most amazing people I know! She rescues dogs from kill shelters down south and helps to find them good homes. She goes back and forth constantly from South Carolina to the New York area and mostly does this by herself. The best thing is she takes the older dogs that surely would be put to sleep and finds them great homes! She could really use some help and that is why I would donate to her if I won!
