Causes: Agricultural Programs, Food
Mission: Provide education on growing healthy food through community gardening, community education and school gardening.
Programs: Operated four community gardens serving 150 families. Provided garden based education at seven public schools serving 3000 students and 125 teachers. Provided hands-on education for community members on organic gardening and seed saving. We also completed a assessment of 90 public properties for the their possible use for community gardening.
