Mission: Grow it green morristown's mission is to create sustainable farms and gardens that provide equal access to fresh, local food and educate communities through programs focused on healthy eating and environmental stewardship.
Programs: Establish an urban farm to host education seminars on gardening, produce home grown foods, community involvement, and team work. The organization negotiated with morris school district to utilize land for creation of an urban farm at lafayette and work with the director of curriculum at morris school district to introduce the urban farm to teaching staff.
create community gardens at which community members may participate and volunteer their time, tools and gardening expertise; over 100 families participated in early street community garden.
