Grow Associates Inc

Programs: Grow associates inc. Provides day habilitation to approximately 70 individuals. Such services include acquiring skills for daily living, physical therapy, speech therapy, music therapy and a host of other modalities to support individuals with significant disabilities the training and education they require to obtain their goals. Additionally grow provides community based day services (cbds) to over 80 individuals. The people served make daily choices of activities to support their goals as they've chosen in the individual service plan. Daily choices made by individuals include community volunteerism, activities of community integration both recreational and educational among other program based activities. All service provided within the scope of the services as described as specifically provided to meet the goals of the person's isp in the most integrated environment possible. Grow provides supported employment job supports to over 29 people currently employed individually by community employers. Such job supports are provided by a staff of professional job coaches to ensure individuals remain successful in their jobs and individual needs for support are met commensurate with the employer's expectations and those of the person working in the job with grow's professional support. In addition grow is working with a cohort of 11 individuals who currently have individuals community employment as their goal. Grow provides vocational services additionally to another approximately 59 individuals. Vocational services are designed as pre-vocational preparation for future employment. Individuals are taught "soft skill" work habits, how to respond to supervision, and expectations and information regarding community employment and integration. The program also operates a full time working bistro as part of its' food preparation program for outside employment.
