Mission: As eastern Long Island’s only independent environmental watchdog organization, we advocate, educate and litigate in protection of natural resources and quality of life.

Programs: The group is an environmental advocacy and education organization that hosts numerous lectures, seminars, outings and community action projects that inform and inspire members of the general public to make a personal commitment to protecting and restoring the environment of eastern long island, new york. In addition to its work in the community at large, the group is also recognized for its comprehensive environmental education programs, which bring the scientific understanding of conservation issues into local classrooms and school-based field programs all across eastern long island.
