Volunteering Oportunities

Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Arts & Culture, Health, Mental Health, Military & Veterans Organizations, Single Organization Support, Veterans

Mission: Our mission is to save veterans' lives. As suicide rates among returning US military veterans continue to rise, the statistics now show that it is six times more dangerous for an American soldier to return home from war than it is for him/her to actively be engaged in combat with the enemies of our country. Grey Team uses a combination of holistic healing technologies as well as reinstating a purpose and passion for life, to completely redefine what it means to be a US military veteran.

Results: Grey Team has helped hundreds of veterans reduce or eliminate pain, elevate their mind, body, and soul, and develop life-long skills to further contribute to our country.

Target demographics: Supporting the US Military while Implementing solutions for active-duty and veterans to reduce and eliminate PTSD related suicides.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 487 veterans and active duty service members

Geographic areas served: The United States

Programs: Grey Team uses a combination of holistic healing technologies as well as reinstating a purpose and passion for life, to completely redefine what it means to be a US military veteran.

It is truly a great honor to volunteer for Grey Team in Boca Raton, whose mission to help elevate and support our precious military vets is being thoughtfully and carefully executed every single day. The unique holistic wellness program and state-of-the-art facility includes nutrition, mindfulness, fitness, photobiomodulation, far infra-red technology, a social support network, and much more... all designed to keep our vets mentally and physically fit and pain free without traditional medication. It is a winning combination of cutting edge technology and a caring and passionate team.
Sincerely,
Alan J Bauman MD - Grey Team Board Member & Medical Director

I am a paramedic/fire-fighting student who will be also joining the United States Army in 2021. Grey Team has provided me a space to train and prep for military service and community service.

In addition to being offered services at Grey Team, I volunteer in their fundraising community. Grey Team, it's staff, volunteers, and veterans all work together to solve one of our community's biggest issues, veteran-related suicide.

If you are a veteran look for services, please contact Grey Team so they may help you improve the quality of your life.

Additionally, if you looking to support your local heroes, donate to Grey Team.

I am a 72 year old veteran. I earned two Purple Hearts while serving in Vietnam in a little known U.S. Marine, special operations unit called a Combined Action Platoon (CAP) from 1970-71. I live alone and have been diagnosed with PTSD, Ischemic heart disease from agent orange, TBI, lower back pain, spinal stenosis, golfer's elbow and had bilateral partial knee replacements in 2018. I met Grey Team Co-Founder, Cary Reichbach while participating in VA sponsored therapy session for veterans with PTSD. I can attest to the changes in my life since participating in the no-cost Grey Team wellness program. Trish Phan, a GTeam Personal Trainer (DI), has led me through workout sessions that have strengthened my body, invigorated my well being and motivated me to focus on creating a long healthy life for myself. Program Director, David Kirkland, guides me in pursuing a healthy diet and motivates me by supporting my endeavor to write my memoir, YEAR OF SURVIVAL, The Nightmare Life of a CAP Marine. I share pictures of my GTeam experiences with my wife and children in California. They are happy to know that I am rejuvenated, and excited to be with a new found family of patriots who truly care for, and love veterans.

As a US Army reservist, Grey Team has helped my family and I integrate further into the community and contribute. I have now met an amazing group of people who help each other deal with the dual military/civilian persona in productive ways.
