Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Crime & Law, Human Services, Mental Health, Prison Alternatives, Substance Abuse Dependency, Prevention & Treatment
Mission: Greenhope services for women, inc is organized exclusively for the public and charitable purpose of providing intensive and short-term program of services to women offenders both those who have been released from new tork city and state correctional facilities as well as those who have been diverted to the program by the courts in order to ease their transition and return into society.
Programs: Residential services: the residential substance use disorder treatment program serves women on parole, women referred as an alternative to incarceration and women from the community requiring substance abuse services. Clients reside at the program anywhere from six months to one year. Greenhope intervenes at a critical point in their lives addressing substance abuse, criminal justice concerns and other clinical issues helping them to make the transition to self-sufficiency and independent living. Upon successful completion of the residential component, clients are encouraged to attend aftercare services for six months.
other services: additioonal services are provided to augment the services provided to women participating in residntial and outpatient programs. Services can include but is not limited to family services, hiv/hepc education, domestic violence workshop, case management, trauma informed care, peer mentoring and more.
outpatient/vocational services: the substance use disorder treatment services includes the intensive outpatient program and general outpatient program. It is designed for women transiting from residential who desire to atttend or is mandated to attend. Community women who have a stable residence and require substance abuse services also attend. This three to five days per week depending on the need of the client. Clients in this program participate in relapse prevention workshops, chemical dependency education, substance abuse counseling,vocational and educational workshops.
