Mission: "Senior Connections" AmeriCorps seeks to improve the quality of life of those seniors would are in danger of nursing home placement. By providing assistance in the home we are able to delay that process. The members are also trained to respond in times of disaster, assist with senior-centered activites and in local community events. In the 4 years we have been providing service, we have been privileged to serve over 900 seniors in the seven counties of the Green River Area Development District in western Kentucky.
