As a Board member and a Family Support committee member for over ten years, I am constantly reminded what a good cause Habitat for Humanity is. Our purpose and individual "hands on" activities keep us aware of family needs for safe and efficient housing often not available for many struggling families. Qualifying families are so excited and hopeful of better days, helping them through the building phase and then succeeding years is always satisfying and fulfilling for volunteers like me.
