People, please try Greccio out. I don't know how you can EVEN complain about folks who offer low-income housing in this town! I've been living in Greccio Housing for the last 7 years, across 3 different properties, and I have never been treated with anything but kindness and courtesy. ANY maintenance issue I've ever had has been addressed within a day. I've had maintenance show up at 2 in the morning for a malfunctioning carbon-monoxide detector -- within an hour of my phone call. These people are HONESTLY trying to do good some good in the world. If you are a single parent or working poor, and trying to better your life, CALL THEM. Admitted, the waiting list is long, but that's NOT their fault. (That's just capitalism. Look it up if you don't know what that is.) I THANK GOD for Greccio. I have FOOD to eat, BOOKS to read, RENT I can afford, and I just got my GED because of THEM. I'm starting college this spring, and it's because of them and their resources. =) Please believe it and get on the waiting list -- they are FOR REAL. =))

This organization, so called, helped me and my son loose! our housing, and was not the least bit interested in getting us into anything else. They withheld information from me. First they told me that all I needed was a Colorado driver's license and a valid address as well as my SSD income. Then after we filled out all of their paper work and had everything ready to hand in, they informed us that I had to have a job too. They said they never received faxes that I sent them several times. I spent a time span of two whole months trying to get stuff straight with them. They mixed up my paper work several times. I spent hours getting stuff together for them, and it was all in vain. I pulled my son out of school early several times to meet their 3 pm deadlines. We had every requirement met except verification of employment. I got employment however, my boss at the time did not verify my employment in the time Greccio wanted her to. I told them that I would bring them pay check stubs that week, but that was not good enough for them. We lost a two bedroom apartment for $560 a month. They should have helped us from the beginning understand everything(I had a disability) and they should have worked harder at getting us into a place. Now me and my son have to get a one bedroom for $700.00 hundred dollars a month. No one was kind to me at this place and spoke to me very rudely. I don't recommend it to anyone. Get a decent job and pay a little higher rent rather than trust these people. Thumbs down! Won't give it any stars.

I was raped many times in my Greccio Apt. and when I asked for my locks to be changed they refused to renew my lease with any of their units. I feel that this is a maintenance problem. I hope that if there are other single women out there that you beware renting from them.
