With a very limited staff due to budget cuts, this organization definitely deserves some recognition!!! They have all been affected by substance abuse in some way or another and show compassion for those who come through their doors. Not only do they work day and night fighting for prevention of these substances but they whole-heartedly believe in this cause and it shows through their work. They do a lot of good work in this community and are not awarded enough.

Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Dependency, Prevention & Treatment
Mission: To contract with state and local government agencies to administer programs that provide education and awareness of substance abuse for both victims and abusers.
Programs: The organization's goals are to create community awareness of the magnitude of substance abuse and related problems and to promote substance abuse prevention through dissemination of accurate substance abuse information, comprehensive substance abuse education for students, parents, and other adults, development of viable drug free alternative activities, early intervention resources for individuals at high risk for substance abuse and create public awareness of the need to draw the line or reinforce appropriate community norms on inappropriate use of drugs. During the fiscal year ended june 30, 2017, approximately 6900 individuals were served by the various programs offered.
