Mission: Girl Scout Council of Greater Long Beach is a non-profit, 501-(c) (3), organization that has been committed to helping girls in Greater Long Beach since 1962. Our mission is to provide opportunities for girls between 5-17 years of age to develop self-esteem preparing them to meet life's challenges and achieve their full potential. These opportunities are provided by a volunteer-led organization, supported by a professional staff. The Girl Scout Council of Greater Long Beach is providing programs and services that involve approximately 7,000 girls and over 1,800 adult volunteers.
