Mission: Greater Cleveland Volunteers engages people to serve the community through meaningful volunteer opportunities. Our organization was founded in 1972 and today has 2800 active volunteers serving at 100 local nonprofit organizations. Volunteers assist these organizations in delivering services to those in need in the community.

Programs: Greater Cleveland Volunteers worked with 2,654 volunteers age 18+ in 2015. They donated 147,000+ hours of service annually to our community, a gift of time valued at over $7 million.These volunteers serve at 100 different nonprofit organizations each year.Greater Cleveland Volunteers staff helps each volunteer find opportunities that match their interests, skills, and availability. Eligible volunteers are provided with free insurance while volunteering and are recognized for their service. In addition, Greater Cleveland Volunteers provides volunteer management assistance to local nonprofit organizations and manages the Cleveland chapters of two national volunteer programs.
