The Golden Bell Education Foundation is an amazing organization that provides grants to teachers to help fund resources for students in public schools grades K-12. Golden Bell provides tremendous results that truly make a difference in a child's present and future. The Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce has done a beautiful job growing this nonprofit and fundraising to secure donations from our generous and caring communities. They run incredible events like Battle of the Bands which I was privileged to participate in! Many thanks to the fabulous crew, volunteers, businesses, donors and schools/educators making it all happen for all of our rock stars in the making, our wonderful children!
I have the privilege of participating with The Golden Bell Education Foundation as a volunteer in several capacities. They have developed creative, engaging, and fun activities to raise money. They are also very efficient and effective in how the money is donated. Teachers apply directly for grants for specific programs that they feel will have the highest impact on their students. The funds are awarded to the teachers at an event attended by most of the donors. It is extremely gratifying as a donor and volunteer to see the teachers accepting these donations in person.
The Golden Bell Education Foundation has got to be one of the most worthwhile non-profits around. Working out from the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce this organization is top notch. The creative events to not only raise money all year round to the value given to all the local students is amazing. Events like Battle of the bands where 20 to 25 chamber members who have never played an instrument are put into bands & partner with the School of Rock to learn a song during the summer & then put on the charity event to entertain the community. They also do the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) program. This helps students to come up with a business idea or product & develop it. Then they do a Shark Tank style presentation in front of business leaders & the community. This is such a worthwhile cause for kids. All the money goes to the Boca Raton public schools to help programs and equipment expenses that aren't covered by the county or state budget. This helps make Boca Raton Schools above and beyond what they are capable of giving to our young people. I was fortunate to be picked to be in one of the Bands back in 2019, and to get to do one of my lifelong dreams that I was unable to do when I went to school and learn to play drums. It was also my great pleasure to do the fund raising that I was required to do for the event for which over $100,000 was raised for the year that I did it. Golden Bell rocks!
The Golden Bell Education Foundation makes a difference. I was previously a member of the student advisory committee at my son's school. When you look at the amount of money that's been budgeted to take care of the school and realize there's not nearly enough to get things done in the best way possible. The Golden Bell makes a huge difference. It nice to know it will help students have opportunities that might not have been available otherwise.
Our Rotary Club has been a partner with the Golden Bell Education Foundation as part of our annual Boca Raton teacher of the year recognition. Their mission statement aligns with ours and thus we are proud to work with the GBEF and their highly professional staff. They strive to continually support both the educators and the children in our Boca Raton public schools.
The Golden Bell education Foundation is a critical component of the school district because it fills in the gaps that the State and School board just can't fill with the budget they have. Golden Bell makes sure that teachers have the materials and items they need to help develop our students into high-quality individuals they are. We're glad Golden Bell is in our community.
I have been a donor to the Greater Boca Raton Chamber Of Commerce Education Foundation for over ten years now and love their mission. The GBRCOCEF fills an important role in our community: funding unfunded resourses for our local teachers in public school is so important to the success of our local students.
The Golden Bell Foundation has been instrumental in getting needed educational resources in to the hands of teachers and students. They are relentless in their pursuit to ensure that students in the Boca Raton schools have access to programs, hands on manipulatives and equipment that provide extended learning opportunities. The Golden Bell Foundation is a "Difference Maker" and we are eternally grateful for their support!!
The Golden Bell Education Foundation does exactly what it says it will do, offer grant opportunities to teachers who want to enhance the learning experience for the children in Grades K-12. This year they were able to give away over $100K in grants! How they raise the funds to do that is very creative. One of my favorite events is The Battle of the Bands where each individual raises a set goal, then perform at the charity event. So much fun and enjoyed by everyone involved. I enjoyed the experience immensely.
The Golden Bell Education Foundation enables our Boca Raton teachers to do so much more for students in Boca. And they get creative in their fundraising efforts to make it fun! I was able to participate in their Battle of the Bands the last 2 years, and it truly was an experience of a lifetime. I never thought I'd be able to fundraise as much as I did, but with their help, it was easy and fun!
The Golden Bell Foundation awarded over $100K in grants to help over 30 local schools this year with the focus on literary and career training purpose. The foundation truly makes a difference in our community. The teachers and students often send us photos of their purchases being used by the students. (with smiling faces!) I am proud to be a board member!
We truly can't Say enough great things about this organization it truly helped our son further his entrepreneurial adventures. The leadership is incredible & we appreciate what they do to help the community.
The Golden Bell Grants that have been provided to us by the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce over the years have been instrumental in providing resources for the teachers in our school. Through their generosity and support we have been able to help students with both literacy and math. It is truly an amazing organization that cares about the students, teachers, and families of the great city of Boca Raton.
I have, over the last decade, been honored with the generous financial support coming from this great charity organization, the Greater Boca Raton Chamber Of Commerce Education Foundation Inc. The paperwork is not nearly as challenging as other committees and their judgements are fair and balanced. Without their support, our high school Television Production class would not have the resource-filled lab and up-to-date electronics that make the hands-on approach to learning both relevant and meaningful. They help so many every year through grants that it is indeed amazing they don't get more credit and praise.
The Golden Bell Education Foundation is a vital partner to teachers and schools in Boca Raton. They have helped support the Boca Raton Community High School Science Olympiad team for years and have helped to encourage our school community to get involved in STEM. Without their help, we would not be able to give as many students the opportunity to discover and explore their passions.
This is an amazing group and has helped countless students at our school and within our community!
