Mission: To benefit and increase the quality of life of the general public in and around the baton rouge area by promoting and supporting activities and functions that attract business, educate the public, and create jobs that otherwise tend to increase economic growth and development in the region.
Programs: The greater baton rouge economic partnership supports economic development in the nine-parish baton rouge area and these efforts were extremely successful in 2016. Economic development wins included securing 884 jobs and $44. 3 million in new annual payroll by companies who moved into the area or expanded operations.
the leadership baton rouge program, part of the national community leadership association, is designed to seek out and educate leaders in the baton rouge community by enhancing the participants' leadership skills, capacities, and attitudes while broadening their understanding of community issues.
