Causes: Economic Development
Mission: To start and support reformed church of america and christian reformed churches in urban settings throughout the great lakes region targeting high need areas from muskegon, mi to cleveland, oh including lansing, benton harbor, kalamazoo, grand rapids, detroit and dade county florida stabilizing the surrounding neighborhoods.
Programs: In 2017 the great lakes urban restoration network continued to expand its impact throughout the great lakes as well as to florida and new jersey. They expanded the number of short term mission opportunities strengthening urban neighborhoods; trained neighborhood rooted community connectors to facilitate positive neighborhood change, and coached partners in respectful and impactful community engagement.
