Programs: Agriculture literacy is woven throughout the fair, from static education exhibits to interactive opportunities to talk to food producers to the exhibits of agricultural products from beans to animals. Additional signage about food products is displayed in the exhibit areas to help educate the public about how the product is grown and processed into food that is found in local grocery stores or is purchased fresh at farmers markets. There are also educational displays in the live animal areas and ambassadors, exhibitors and signage to help the public better understand michigan agriculture, the importance of argriculture to michigan's economy, and how much farmers care about their animals, their enviornment and producing safe food.
