Mission: Great Dane Rescue, Inc., founded in 1993, grew out of the need to find adoptive homes for the ever-increasing number of unwanted or improperly placed Great Danes. Great Dane Rescue is comprised entirely of volunteers that assist in the rescue and placement of Great Danes in selected states and Ontario, Canada.Additionally, a great deal of Great Dane Rescue's efforts is directed at educating the public about the breed and the reality of living with a giant dog.
