Grayson County Womens Crisis Line Inc

Horrible horrible horrible.
I’ve called them 30 times for help.
Been there once. Just for them to say “come to group” which i cannot attend, as I’m a single mom who works, and can’t come to group.
I have emailed begging, and pleading for help, just someone to help me.
They do not return phone calls, they do not return emails, then they’ll give you “we have no assistance”. Ok? So what do you have? Aren’t you a crisis center???? For those in abusive traumatic situations?!!?
I have never in my life been so hopeless, but this place is a waste of time, the ONLY crisis Womens center in Grayson county, and they do not care, they can’t even return a phone call when you’re in distress, it’s absolutely disgusting.
One time i went there 15 years ago, and i was lured out by a resident who was a hoe, literally, and she told me if i left with her, she would help me get my baby back, and i ended up getting sex trafficked.
This place is hell, and i thought “maybe they have changed.” But nope, they do not care about you, or your innocent kids.
They do not assist.
They do not refer.
They do not answer or call back.
They’re rude when you call multiple times, because they say “someone will call you back” and no one does.
Everytime you call them, they say “we have no record of you calling” um, I’ve called 24 times in the past 12 months, and done MULTIPLE phone intakes, and everytime i call back.

This place, trying to get help, has given me absolutely no hope whatsoever of getting any help in Grayson county, and I’m not allowed to leave Grayson county due to my divorce decree; so basically, I’ll never get abuse, or trauma assistance.
This place is horrific. I wish i could tell you there’s somewhere else you can go, but here i am over a year later….brick wall, hopeless, pointless, and useless. I give up.
